I saw "Same Old Energy" first, and I loved the cinematography and haunting vocals, so I decided to check out the other music videos you've got, and I'm surprised it's only the two based on how professional the production feels on these. With a title like "Left for Dead" and the style, lighting, color, and vibes of Same Old Energy on the mind I was almost expecting a zombie apocalypse or general post apocalyptic themed music video here....Not disappointed at all with what I got from watching this music video though, the visuals and music are so beautiful and I think lots of other people's theories really summed up a lot of the thoughts I had from watching this. I will say though, now I'm absolutely craving to see your style portraying an apocalyptic/zombie theme, I love the drapery and lingering, lonely shots of simple things like a wrist or the corner of a bed. It really captures how it is to experience a very visceral kind of loneliness, betrayal and anxiety, but is also visually beautiful and comforting to watch as a viewer, and it's the kind of directing that I feel lends itself well to the themes your stuff is so far portraying, and matches so nicely with your lyrics and vocals. Really nice work, looking forward to seeing more of your stuff in the future!!

I knew with the title, but the song is brilliant in its' story telling let alone the video.
What I like is that I am still getting hooked by musical artists even now after nearly 50 years which shows the whole x decade was the golden age of music is tripe. I can still be surprised and that is a very good thing.

Left for dead out in nature? Circle of life and being reincarnated as the horse, maybe a free spirit, untamed. Then the fact her hand motions is controlling the actions of the stallion makes me think she is presenting herself as a human while stuck out in the barn as the horse. Glad that she managed to bring him down with her.
you know, i totally appreciate the music and all your lyrics are lyrically fantastic, the poetry is amazing, only here - though again, albeit less prononounced - i appreciate the lyrics and music though I feel the vibe brings me down personally. it's not empowering in a good way. i don't want to understand the feeling. i am in this situation and even after all the shit he pulled on me i still love my husband and that is not simply gone. and hunting him down for revenge would only hurt more cause i don't want someone i love to hurt more than they do already. even if i am hurt myself. so i could devise an entire mindgame extravaganza in return of years where i play my aces like le genie du mal but i would only end up hurting my own feelings and dignity and what i believe in, honesty and integrity. so it's very much a tragedy and no threat can simply turn that into anything else. because if i would act in such a way i would either hurt him all the time and there'd be payback and i'll be brooding again and I WILL TURN INTO THE SAME KIND OF PERSON. which is exactly what they want to prove. they are not like that, the other is. and i am not like that, where i sleep around and play mindgames all the goddamn time. i am transparent and it's been abused, misused, i have been hurt and hurt again. and then more. and still i don't want to "hunt snakes" because that love would not be real love. it would only be fear and it's what love is not supposed to be. just sharing though cause i really get inspired by your creativity and behind the scenes videos, the combo is great, the serious music and the person behind that, not the character in the video. it's shows the fun you have making this and that brought me joy to see. keep rocking :-)

Yet I don’t want to take revenge and hurt him like how he hurt me because even though hurt, I still love him and I can’t simply amputate that. And that’s difficult. Your song might empower me to take him down, but I’d rather not feed him mind games like he does me dirty. He also does me good, physically and spiritually too. It’s not so simple. And, then there was a compliment about your music also in the comment. It was lucid okay ☺️ I expected you to get it but maybe you didn’t write the lyrics or known such a deep love. May you find it though, and may he or she end up not being some asshole that just casts an illusion your way because they thought otherwise no one would love someone like them then decides they doesn’t love you at all and starts fucking with your life to punish you for ruining theirs supposedly. It’s some depth psychological analysis of a certain kind of psychopathic behavior, they prey on those they perceive as weak cause they feel weak. They want to feel strong, in control, and in possession of a secret that elevates them above the “stupid” lover or people that do not know. But then should they be destroyed in. return? This video made me think okay. Some things are complex, may you be spared something like it. You won’t hunt snakes. You’ll cry and wonder why and maybe cut yourself like some do or something else to take the pain away like self-destruct because if you are being abused certain ways you won’t be able to prove a thing, not even to yourself, and feel crazy. So I am sharing with you this story because I wanted to say: revenge on someone you love is not that easy because feelings don’t evaporate into thin air if the love is really real.

Cause people can break you and confuse and abuse you so sneakily and lovingly, seemingly or actually so, that you will not know what to think anymore, and some might turn to chaos magick, okay, but most I think will be in pain and better off not reflecting all of the abuse cause it will become a cycle of abusers who abuse people who become abusers and abuse, and that... is basically life. But I don’t want that to happen to me, I want to keep myself feeling clean, innocent, pure; and knowing I did not understand, forgive myself and maybe even forgive them because they don’t understand why they do what they do in most cases. Or you know, maybe people differ. I wonder what your opinion is. Besides that I am confusing to you, just cause. This video took me places in my mind and for this I thank you.

As an asexual aromantic, I don't quietly understand love. I wrote about it, watched about it, but a layer was always between me and it.
This beautiful mixture of a soft dreamy voice singing in pain made me wonder: why do people love 'love' when it's so painful? I think the horse was a symbol to love, they think they trained it under their hands, mastered it, but it _most of the time_ betrays that trust. Or was it their pride that blinded them?
Or was the horse another lover? One day a partner would see another shiny person, maybe that first glory of love and lust would drive them in, leaving their past love behind. But again, that love could fall on the same speed it rises. Will the other partner be happy with that fall? Or will it be painful for them to see their lover falling?
This song and video was one of the few things that made me feel how complicated, sweety venomous, and beautiful love is.
