Very sad that JB wasted so much time with fifth-rate stuff like this and Schulz-Evler's "Danube". I suppose he found them pianistically irrestitible. Maybe they are. But musically - dull affairs indeed! Even the greatest performance can't really rectify this.
At 9:58 you can hear one string of the grand piano rip apart it's simply too extraordinary outstandingly fantastic

this is a cringe take. Godowsky transcriptions like this one are on par w Liszt’s, brother!
