Clears angles so methodically and clean, knows how to lurk & reliable anchor. He is GeT_RiGhT's spiritual successor.
Ropz is not a flashy player like s1mple, he understands and mastered the fundamentals of CS, always making the best plays. His kills are so calm and smooth, very positional just like dev1ce and ZywOo.
Not only that, Ropz is humble and friendly like ZywOo, truly these two are the kings of CS2.
Nice to see the best player in the world debate revolving more around riflers again. Ever since kennyS I swear its always awpers recieving all the praise because of the flashy styles that everyone loves. Fundamentally ropz is OP.
Ropz is my favourite player. Man deserves all the respect that comes his way. God of the game, and a great guy too.
@@btec6736 The most consistent AWPer who actually uses it like a sniper rifle, is dev1ce. Honorable mention to GuardiaN and markeloff in 1.6.
Aggressive high-sens close range AWPing is overrated. Unnecesarily reckless. Part of high game IQ is playing to your weapon's strengths and minimalizing its weakness. dev1ce might not be as "exciting" to watch because he uses the correct safe plays everytime.
Someone like Niko, Ropz, ZywOo play the game like chess. s1mple, M0nesy, shroud, ScreaM etc treat the game like Quake. Mechanically very gifted players with insane aim, but their game IQ and positioning takes a backseat. Even s1mple who is by many touted as the #1, his crosshair placement is awful. He often just looks at the ground, he's a high-sensitivity aimer that relies on flick shots.

Lmao i called ropz the goat like 2 months ago and got ripped to shred by comments about it. Glad to see someone else with the same mindset. S1mple isnt even close to ropz on a mechanical level. Any adhd kid can hit flick awp shots. Ropz displays an unmatchable experience to the server
