I think there is a mistake at 5:41.It doesn't say 30 degree North and 45 degree south . It says BETWEEN 30-45 DEGREE north and south ( i.e. between 30-45 degree in north and 30-45 degree in south swell ) Please correct if I am wrong

sir there is one confusion...that 35 an 40 degree north and south thing...also the chinese eastern coast is above the tropics..means westerlies will low there then how come rain on eastern coast

Yep, it should be 35° to 40° North and 35° to 40° South of the Equator as per the text, but then the explanation would be completely incorrect and also the explanation in the ncert would be baseless. Maybe there's a typo in the ncert text itself
