I have to disagree with you. I’m happy that they are rereleasing past lines. There’s also lots of us that weren’t able to experience them when we were younger. And trying to find first edition bratz and rock angelz (which are also rereleasing) in good complete condition and at an affordable price is like finding a needle in a haystack.

Eh. If you had the money to bootleg, you’d have the money to actually make a toy line that would be profitable. Bootlegs don’t make very much and most consumers don’t want them and even those who will get them won’t pay much

Most HT stores seem to have Instagram pages that they post new collector products to! My stores refused to tell me on the phone but they posted on the IG page the same night haha

I got yasmin the other day, I can’t put her down! I had the original cloe as a kid. I remember seeing her at KB toys and being like “wow what is that” which is something I’m hoping kids today will say when they see them on toy shelves. I still have my cloe, and I have 3 others I got as a kid(xpress it meygan, flaunt it meygan, and strut it yasmin), and my new yasmin!!! I’m happy I was able to get her, as I don’t remember ever opening them up. I just remember picking them out at Walmart.lol eventually I plan on getting cloe, My Walmart only had yasmin. Which I wanted the most anyway! Nice video:)
To hang up the posters you could use sticky tack or double sided tape! That's what I use! Just be careful bc they might take paint off when you take the posters down just thought I would let you know! Love your videos ! ❤

I just ordered cloe and yasmin I think I’m going to cry when they get here😂 honestly they were my childhood I have so many memories playing with them I had so many because my sister passed down her collection to me and I continued buying them after that too.
I"m excited there bringing them back as a k** I did not have the money nor would my parents spend money on this so it gives those of us who had to miss out on such iconic dolls when they were in there prime a chance to be mini collectors im not a doll collector and most these new age doll lines dont interest me, iv already brought sasha/cloe and saving up for jade/yasmine! with that said in a way I agree I think(hope) there just bringing back a few of there most iconic/bestselling lines(the original release, rock angel,Tokyo) but that they also make some new modern day collections. I would love a modern inspired bratz collection were there makeup is like 2020/2021 (glossy lids/the intense unique liner looks the girls be doing now, neutral face makeup ) and in terms of real different I would LOVE a 4 part collection where one is entirely just one in 4 different looks( like one is just cloe but in her signature style/makeup, 2nd is glam her/makeup, 3rd streetwear her,and last modern day her) but, clearly done for all of them that

Ooo! As a past hot topic employee, I can tell you why they were super shifty about telling you if they had them. We had super strict rules about collectables because of customers fighting each other and us. Like we had men threaten our managers because they thought we were hiding and reselling the chase funkos. So just know other people ruined hot topic employees trying to help collectors.

I made this channel when I was 12 and I wanted “anomalocaris” (a genus of ancient animal that I love) and that was taken so I went with the species “canadensis” but it was 2011 so people always put “x” before their username. Now unfortunately I am stuck with this terrible username that is confusing, hard to say and means nothing LOL
I love them but am really sad that the only one most faithfully recreated eyes are cloe’s- like for everyone else they changed their face molds. sasha is especially wonky as she originally had a really beautiful orange lip with liner but now they’re bronze and her eyes are also closer together as well as having a different face mold, it’s a shame since shes my fave of the first wave
I feel that they must have just lost the original screening airbrush stencils (or stamps? I’m not honestly sure??) so they had to make new ones. I’m okay with changes as the first edition already exists! I do think Sasha and Cloe came out the worst in the faces which is such a shame

There's rereleases of Rock Angels and some of the old collector dolls later this year :D And then also some new designs for a new collector line :D
