    OMG that was awesome, I have the 21" Osee and was bummed all along that it couldn't display several cams simultaneously. Well case closed, great info thanks

      @andersBakfeldt how do you Luke the 21 inch, and how is the fan noise?

      @@a1selecta1 Only getting to know it still. I've had it with me on one shoot only so far. There's a chance I'm not setting it up the right way bc the image does not look as crisp and nice as I expected it to do. (I am using a LUT) The menu is horrific as well as the documentation that does not describe a bunch of tech terms, only tells you where they are. Having said that I do love it and I'm fairly sure in time I'll have it looking right. I have so far no wobbling issues from the back handle. I have not noticed any fan noise so far.

    Great video, bro! I love my Megamon. It has been a great production monitor, especially for the price.

      Yea, its a great monitor for sure. The price is ridiculous for just the panel and size. I can forgive all the little things that suck about it. but even upgrades make it even more versatile. Thanks for coming through!

      @@thisisfilmatic what sucks about it. Trying to learn more about it

      The power button is pretty sticky, almost easier to unplug a battery, it has a high pitch noise when it turns on, the UI is terrible, but usable. The case, feet and the vmount are terrible, and honestly could've been left out all together. @@a1selecta1

    Thank you for this! great option with the decimator. Stupid question - I made my own plexi protector for the screen and have an issue installing. Is the lower left screw hole different from the others on your Megamon? It looks like there aren't thread in mine

    • @thisisfilmatic
      @thisisfilmatic  3 місяці тому

      on all the versions I had, they had an input thread. They also came with the plexi glass, not sure if that changed as well.

      @thisisfilmatic mine didn't ship with one. They want $90 for it.. Amazing little monitor though. Great image.

    Great stuff! Thank you for sharing! If you don't mind me asking- why did you choose the DMON-QUAD over an Atem Mini with SDI? I just bought the Megamon 15 and was thinking of getting the Atem Mini Pro to give me multi-cam view. Do you recommend one over the other? Thank you again for sharing so much great knowledge on your channel!

      I don't do live production ever, and the DMON doesn't need another interface. It's plug and play. It's less expensive. I would see that as a great solution for those who do Live production all the time.

    Do you find that the 15” model is big enough for your needs when doing a quad feed multi cam? I’m looking to get a client monitor and I love the size of the 15- but I’m worried it might be too small.

      I used to have a SmallHD 24 inch monitor, and I felt like that was too big. But, the cool thing about the decimator, is that you can connect it to a bigger client monitor, or to a TV. Or you can add a wireless video system for that as well.
