Nothing last forever
Days before my Dad passed away, my brother said we have to play songs of beatles so Dad could relax. My Dad could barely speak and when he does, his voice is airy, husky and hard to understand.
When In my life was next on the list, my Dad suddenly spoke with joy and excitement in his eyes and recognized the song, he even stated the title and sang few lines even though he was grasping for clear voice. So whenever I hear this song, The memory of him flashes back before my eyes and suddenly tears from my eyes will fall uncontrollably. I badly miss my Dad and all I can do is to reminisce, find good memories and listen to his favorite songs to sing which I admit I didn't like back then and is now my go to songs when I miss him or when I am feeling down and alone.
