Absolutely fire man I love how you give different prospectives on your raps it really gives it another dimension. What I come to understand is that Santana doesnt really regret the power he achieved its that he wants an opponent who he can go all out with. Saitama removed his limiter but he doesn't know why he did. If he can find someone to push his limits he will find the answers he seeks on why he became a hero
King mentioned that Saitama has all this power but he hasn't achieved anything. He may be the strongest but that doesn't make him the best hero. He questions himself but I think he will come to a realization that he didn't want to remove his limiter for the sake of fighting stronger opponents but to face any evil that try to do harm

@@DavidoMAMO I think a lot of people lean too heavily on parody or it having a plot, I think the right way to describe it would be closer to a commentary or a desconstruction. It uses tropes, but also subverts and digs deeper into them at various angles.

Gosh this is fire. But dammit it’s so fucking sad. Reminded me of why i would feel bad for him. Imagine that. Feeling sadness for someone with such power. Strength really isn’t everything. He trained so hard for this and now it begs the question. Was it worth it all in the end? He’s really out there saving everyone except for himself. Thankfully Genos is there now to give a bit of life to his days of boredom. At least he’s not alone anymore so there’s that.

One of the reasons I like you is that you focus so much on the character.

@@TheShuckleNoob I feel like even though he might not say it, deep down Saitama's thankful that King's around to beat him so easily at something. It's impossible to imagine how alone Saitama must feel, unable to relate to anyone's determination to grow stronger because strength as a concept is wholly irrelevant to him.
Don't know if DPS intend this but, I can kinda draw a connection with the build up of each verse and the fights in the show. As it get more intense you expect a awesome drop or flow change but you just get a chorus or mello fell, kinda like the fights in the show lots of lead up and hype just for it to end abruptly.

I love that Dps is expanding into different genres, with each song he's trying new shit and it makes the songs even more interesting and even refreshing compared to all his other works.

I think this song perfectly describes Saitama's thoughts when he's in a depressed phase. He just wonders if all of this is worth it, and if fighting against always-recurring evils will ultimately change anything. It's sad, but when you pay attention to Saitama when he's in a good mood & says inspirational things, you can see he doesn't regret his power. He became who he is not just to be the strongest, but to defend those who can't defend themselves.
In his first fight when he still had hair, it's shown that he sees villains as bullies & he won't let them have their way, even if he ends up dying. That sentiment of his is still there and is expressed in the anime opening's lyrics. He acknowledges his responsibilities as the Earth's protector and will fight as long as he lives bc that is his purpose. When he remembers that, he becomes at peace with being the One Punch Man; you can even say he owns it. Loved the rap, keep it up 💖

The only one I can come up with is
AWESOME.
I literally got chills, expecially when the second verse was about to end and he was walking away from boros. The song and the images went so perfectly together I replayed those 10 seconds for about 20 minutes no lie.
“Now I rescue everybody else but myself” man must have heard this song over a hundred times and it still really hits the spot music wise.
This rap really portrayed one of the many reasons as to why I love One Punch Man. It focuses on someone who got their wish for invincibility and all the saddening, boring, and disheartening counceques Saitama got because of his wish.
Not going to lie, I'd love to hear him do some "older" animes, like inuyasha, blood rein etc. I can however completely understand the more modern anime selection. I love what you do mate, helps me through my 12 hour shifts more than you might realize.
"Be careful what you wish for" is a life lesson we all need. EX: If someone said they wish there parents was dead, and that ended up happening they will have no one to take care of them. And they will know what they wish for was a mistake. RESPECT😢.

Something that I appreciate just as much as your production value is your narrative insight. You voice your interpretation of the messages given by different fictions every once in a while, and while it isn't all the time I count them as some of my favorites. Assassination Classroom is a good example. The surface level appreciator of the One Punch saga may not detect how deep the empty goes with Saitama, but you did really well to illustrate how jaded and disenchanted the unsung hero has become.
Killer Move Series: Serious Bars. Such a cold track that really delves into Saitama’s mind set, or rather his drive for an opponent to challenge him. Another amazing track
