Love my Burgervan 400. Maintenance is so easy and it's a great all-round scoot. Economical, fast enough, lots of storage and not too heavy. I've thought of buying another bike, but the practicality of the Burgman wins every time. Great vid, thanks.
Lifesaver Joey, thank you!!! Checking in from Hawaii, married to a Filipina from Laoag, 30 trouble free years. Picked up a used Burgman 400, no owner's manual so this video alone answers a hell of a lotta questions. Binge watching your videos about Vegas and the Lake Mead situation. Please keep up the good work. Will be in Vegas in Sept. '22 to celebrate my wife's boss's 50 year wedding anniversary, Filipino style. Hope to look around and see a few houses when we get there. I'll say hi to ya' if I see you in that world famous Toyota shirt!!!
"I barely ride it during the winter" ...in Vegas. Hell, I'm in Canada and I ride my scooter year round and don't take my truck out unless there's snow on the roads. I would love to have your weather. Great vid, thanks.
Hey Joey, Thanks for posting this quick tutorial. I just got a 2008 Burg 400 and totally love it. This helps me return the love and change the oil. Thanks again! Btw, I love your LV post, it is an amazing scoot! I’m looking to get decals now to increase visibility-what a great idea!
Yes sir! Burgman 400 is just an awesome machine man.. Love it because i use it for everything when my car is not really needed. The under seat storage is such luxury.. I can never return to a standard motorcycle.. the Burgman 400 is family now.. - Joey
your welcome! The scooter is ultra reliable and I could never sell mine. Its taken me everywhere i want to go. As maintenance is required ill add more videos..
Just watched a mechanic change the oil on Burgman 400 and he said you should check the final oil level by taking the the bike off the center stand and check the level. You'll be surprised!!! OF course you need someone holding the bike for you to check... You'll end up with just a tad more than half the oil.
Put a block of wood under the kickstand to hold the bike as upright as possible, without falling over. That's a simple way to hold the bike upright by yourself.
Hello Rami - look at my other video called Burgman 400 in las vegas.. I explain this bike in great detail.. I love this bike.. Its the best scooter ive ever owned - Joey ''''
@@VegasDtech Thanks Vegas, I definitely will. Do you have any suggestions as to what I should do after buying a used 400cc 08 Burgman with 16K miles? I'm guessing oil change and oil filter change is a groundball. Open to any thoughts. Thanks
@@RamiAgonistes Just listen to it.. how it idles and how it accelerates and your top end speed to determine if it needs a belt.. Ask the owner if the belt or spark plug has been changed... check your coolant level, Its by the gas fill and if its green color.. make sure both brake switches are activating the brake bulb not just one or you will eventually not be able to use electric start one day... and thats all for now...
@@VegasDtech I'm supposed to meet the seller tomorrow after work. I will definitely add these things to my list of things to look for/ask about! Thanks a lot man!
i would not recommend putting car oil in ya scooter they make scooter oil that u can get online if u have the operators manual it should show u recemented motor oil to use
