@@WhimsicalCrochet Another reason to purchase: Sure I could make it, but do I have the time to between other projects and life demands? That is the real question
I've crocheted most of my life and completely understand both sides. On one hand, crocheting takes forever, is a ton of hard work and your wrists and hands ache from crocheting so much. On the other, some people would love to buy but they just don't have the extra money. I'm both. One time, my husband and I had a lot of extra money with us and drove up to a crochet booth. It was 2 young girls with their mom. It was loaded with wonderful amigurumi, crocheted hair ties, axolotls, pumpkins, even a really cool minotaur! We bought as much as we could and the girls were so happy! The younger(9 years) made all the hair ties, and the older one(maybe 12) made all the amigurumi! We were blown away by the talent! I had a lot of crochet supplies in our car and gave them some pattern books. It was great!
