    nice slide show, where's the video?

  • @hedning003

    at 2:27 eh that shoudnt be possible! g-code limit is preventing toolchanger to move unless the spindle is at the correct height-how the HELL did that happen?!??!?

    • @ipadize
      @ipadize 4 роки тому +1

      maybe the toolchange had a fault and the operator manually crashed it?

    • @SSFproductions1
      @SSFproductions1 4 роки тому

      Or they put the machine in full manual mode. Then those things can happen.

      Не всегда. Я однажды тоже сломал захват инструмента. На станке не было блокировки перемещений.

      Could be an electrical failure causing the machine to think that the tool changer was homed when it was in mid swing. I'm not sure how it registers but it's probably not as well designed as the actual machining parts.

    Place that I was working at until a week ago had an automated saw. Idiot running it ignored the signs that the blade was going blunt and didn't change it or slow it down. The blade went shattered into a dozen bits with a serious boom. The guard thst covers the blade was so entirely bent out of shape that the next day the floor supervisor completely rebuilt it and we come inthat afternoon to a different guard with welds on the outside and fresh paint on it.

      Watched a fair few do it and done it myself more than once, Got scared cause I had a puddle under me, then realized it wasn't my machine, never heard a more sincere "GOD DAMNIT" up until that day.

      this is coolant, and worker probably forgot he's refilling it ;)
      just like here for instance:

    • @OffGridInvestor
      @OffGridInvestor 3 роки тому

      @@calkazdwalx3392 not unknown to see the coolant running slow and it's a blocked filter or ball valve turned down and they go to refill it and it's full. The automated saw I used to use had a little flow control knob I didn't understand at first and I almost didn't check the level before refilling. The damn thing was a half inch off overflowing.

    About the drill that destroyed the CRT screen... I have a slightly used complete control system that I am willing to part with, cheaply! It is an identical Autocon control panel. The Chevalier Bed Mill was in storage for years while in litigation with the machine distributor. Finally, I replaced all with another control system. Turned out that they did not know how to program the firmware properly. $200 plus shipping. Please reply if wanted.

    This makes me feel better. The other day, I was trying to touch off a depth on my ID, and I accidentally used the External instead of Absolute and sent her 8 inches at 100% into the chuck. New chuck, new jaws, new tool, and she's good as new. Kia lathes suck ass though.
