Here's a review and update on my Louis Vuitton Zippy Compact Wallet. I've been planning to make a video on this for a while and I also had a request from @ticktweety and @sayboobilly to do an update/wear & tear, so hopefully this will be somewhat useful.

... It's such a great wallet! I wish I could of got my hands on one before it got d/c but I settled for the emp clemence in the grape. Thanks for sharing an up date! :) I hope you have a great easter!

Great video! I love the style of the Zippy Compact wallet when it was flat. I am not a fan of the newer model.
Same. I don't like the new Zippy Compact. It's annoying that popular and preferred styles get discontinued =/
I used this wallet every day for 4 years and it held up amazingly well. It was finally starting to show very minor signs of wear so I sold it before it depreciated in value too much... I must say I miss this wallet a lot, it was an incredible workhorse.
That's a shame. This is definitely the perfect wallet for me and I don't know what I would do if it starts to fall apart. I'm not sure there's a good enough replacement. Which wallet are you using now?
YUNIQ Today It definitely wasn't even close to falling apart! The only signs of wear it had after 4 years were a little bit of a misshapen appearance on the corners (again, very minor) and stretched card slots. It was great!! I'm about to purchase a full sized zippy now. Love the zippy style in general.
+MiaMcc I wasn't a fan of the zippy-style wallets before and I don't know if I am now but I love the Zippy Compact. I probably would love it even more of it didn't zip all the way round. Maybe I should just carry less cards then I can get away with a smaller wallet.

I wanted this wallet so much and when it came to purchasing the wallet LV have discontinued the flat style. I don't like it now that the old flat style no longer available :( such shame.
I agree. I prefer the old model much more so when I heard they were discontinuing it I quickly made a purchase. Very lucky.... Would you buy preloved? I know someone on IG is selling the old model in Mono.
+YUNIQ Today Oh absolutely I'm going to look into preloved, specially after watching so many LV item reviews and many people have mentioned preloved LV items are better made quality compare to todays manufacturing specially wallets and key pouch/holders.
+stardust Yup, I totally agree. The quality does feel different with older items. And it sometimes saves a lot of money buying preloved. Good luck =)

Hi Yuenny, would you know the retail price of zippy compact wallet NM at that time? I was thinking of buying one in pre loved market and they are selling it for 665 plus tax I would like to know if this price is comparable. Thanks!
Hi. I don't remember exactly how much but it was between GBP £300-400 when I purchased it brand new. Prices are cheaper in the Europe so I'm not too sure how comparable it would be 😕 Hope it helps.

i hate opening the key area cuz i keep two keys inside there which might stretch the leather 😩😩😩
Shottoru The key area? What do you mean? I guess if you have flat keys then it shouldn't be a problem.
