I've seen quite a few videos about this, but none of them included the extra dialogue, or mentioned which mission you could find Agent Venom in, so this is for anyone who was interested!
It is criminal they have him only appear between two story missions, I wonder if.. since they went to all the trouble of programming him as a partner we get some kinda DLC that is like a slight offshoot where Harry is a hero for bit longer.. also.. I doubt he called himself "Agent Venom" but I am assuming he never had a proper hero name lol
Not really a huge fan of Venom tbh. Like just in general :p I do agree tho that I think some elements of the story could have used a little more time to breathe and simmer in. Maybe it's just cuz I was primarily doing story missions at the start it all felt like it was going by so quickly lol
Funny thing is, Wraith doesn't disappear either if you stay there. It's only after the player gets a certain distance away from her that she starts her vanish animation. Unlike Miles who just goes invisible and swings off immediately. Otherwise she just stands there looking at you.
Miles actually leaves quickly once you're wearing the symbiote. He'll say appreciate the assist and immediately go invisible and swing away not giving you the triangle interaction.
@@castedsp1dersis this when you get the symbiote suit (the more veiny one) vs the black suit that Peter intially gets when he wears the symbiote? Cause I was able to give him fist pumps in the black suit
In my playthrough, he would always take out his phone as soon as the crimefighting (and post-fight "gunslinging") was over. I like to think he was calling his chauffeur to come pick him up because he wasn't very good at web-swinging just yet. 😂
Too bad you can only have only 1 person to help you, it would be really cool of you could get the 2 spidermen, Agent Venom, and Wraith all fighting together.
What if, and hear me out, Harry had been a tad more jealous of Miles, and his relationship with Peter & MJ ? Feeling like he got replaced or something. I would have love to see how the symbiote, would have amplify these feelings and what Harry/symbiote would have done to create doubts and distrust between Miles, Peter & MJ
That's one thing I really wanted, more interactions between Miles and Harry. That would have elevated the story, as not only Harry relies on Pete, but he also learns from Miles, and Miles would learn to like him as well. Though, the story was directing himself that the return of Harry, would tear the relationship between Miles and Pete, so it would have been a bit different BUT if they had them connect before Venom latches on to Pete, that would have been nice.
I really think Harry was meant to be a third playable Spider character before his descent to Venom and I really wish that was the case it help making for new better stories and why these teams up exist.
@@Nutterbutter123 no? Why else would them have him show up stoping crimes and not have an animation for leaving there was definitely something in the works but we just never got it.
@@gogetathestrongestfusion I wouldn’t say it was “definitely in the works”, they didn’t have to add him at all. They did bc it makes sense in the context of the story, him showing up is just something they decided to add. His fighting animations were used in the few story missions he’s in, why not have him fight crime just to utilize his power set while also having him interact with Miles which he doesn’t in the story missions (as agent venom). Wraith sometimes doesn’t have animations after a crime, doesn’t mean she was always meant to be playable. Just bc he doesn’t have animations as he’s leaving is not confirmation he was meant to be playable 😂😂 that’s a reach. Even so, his powers would just be similar to symbiote surge
@Nutterbutter123 yeah but we got to play as venom as his powers were a step up compared to the Symbiote suit seeing that evolution be amazing too see and strangely after freeing tombstone Harry gets his own spider symbiote when he fist bumps Peter but in the crimes he doesn't have it. Too me it seems like there was more too this story but it is what it is.
@@gogetathestrongestfusion Idk it seems like so little to come to the assumption (or conclusion even) that they considered him being playable with almost no evidence, the fact that we got to play as venom is already enough, why play as agent venom which is just incomplete venom with Harry’s noob quips? For the different animations? Not everyone gotta be playable, why isn’t wraith playable? Why isn’t Kraven playable? Or one of the random symbiotes in the hives? Scream? You’re looking too much into it, the no white spider was clearly an oversight which there are many that’s been noticed. It happens. Unless they confirm otherwise. But like I said, I don’t see why they wouldn’t add Agent Venom skin with other color variants.
Think you're right that he was suppose to be Agent Venom for longer since he appears as Agent Venom after the Tombstone mission but in the crimes he doesn't have the spider logo after it.
Imagine if they made him a playable character. You could swing with the tendrils and have the symbiote attacks like peter but have that one wrecking ball attack that he does. If he kept the suit after the story, his rage mode could be venom and have more vicious attacks

Definitely would have liked more time with Agent Venom. Hell, more time with Venom in general as I'm sure we all would have wanted.
Might as well have given us more time with the Symbiote suit as well

I like these types of missions. They make the game more alive and realistic.

Another detail: at the end of the Tombstone mission, Harry gets a spider logo on his chest. But when you encounter him during crimes, it’s not there.
Probably an over site by insomniac maybe they’ll fix it in a future update

He does. They have a lot of lines together if you fight crime and encounter him.
