Mindblown. Just realised that the solo itself is 'broken'' into many scales/modes and exquisitely crafted into a powerful and very musical result. Just goes to prove that when in the right hands, an overdriven electric can be the most expressive instrument ever. Also the tone on the guitar is fantastic. Any deviation would result in something completely different. The main riff sounds like someone weeping. The broken music box feel of the solo that is as strangely futuristic as it is traditional just adds to the poignancy. This is why real music has to grow organically out of its creator and listener. We cannot program real music.
Somehow, most songs of Maktub has the ability to transport me into nostalgia of campus life. I don't have an explanation as to why it does that. That album will be close to my being till the end.

Motherjane got me more into rock music.. and inspired me so much that I started my own band in the 11th standard around 4 years later.. and in college too we had a band.. but life moved on and so did bands.. but Motherjane is still a constant in my heart.. felt heartbroken when the band split but it doesn't matter..
When i was in college days in back 2011 MotherJane came and what a impact & magic on audience by Baiju sir. truely awesome. That was the first time i listened live motherjane band. Vishal & Shekhar also came in same feast. The word from Vishal that - I haven't seen this sort of guitarist in India Amazing Performance. love you sir, you are really legend. Your guitar speaks every words. ❤
