Her production skills on this track are phenomenal, everything comes together so well, damn, it sounds so simple, but so layered. Never heard the instrumental before and I'm baffled that this is all only her. Mad respect.
She didnt produce this,this beat like all her songs/albums are made by her brother,roland "rollo" armstrong,same man who was behind the o.t quarter and the faithless
And furthermore, as talented as Dido is, she didn't play all the parts in the vocals version of this song. Not sure she played any in this instrumental version either.

The reason for the 2 minute at the end is because when I rendered the video, sony vegas software had set the duration by itself and I didn't know about that and couldn't be bothered to re edit the video. Plus why does it piss you off soo much? It's not like its 2 minutes from the start! AT least be thankful I posted the official instrumental (not some crap karaoke version). If its because you want to rip it into mp3 then be smart and use audacity to crop the remaining 2 minutes!

Dido reminds me of going on driving down to Devon on holiday with my family.
Childhood innocence shielded me from that fact that they paid my dad played Dido in the car my parents were in a troubled relationship of their own.
A balance of a beautiful memory and childhood heartache.
My mom listened to Dido a lot when my parents were getting divorced too even though she didn't understand a word since she never learned English
