Wow, your videos show this Gundam from its first days in Tokyo Green, to Shizuoka, to “Gundam in Pieces”, and finally it’s last day outside Diver City! It was also fun watching the construction of Diver City in your videos. Does anyone know what happened to this Gundam after it was dismantled?
Thank you very much for this video. I first saw the life-size Gundam at the inauguration day at Odaiba back in July 2009, and then again in Shizuoka in 2011. I have very fond memories of this statue. Although I'm a bit sad seeing it being dismantle, I'll cherish those memories forever.

I was so sad when I first saw this video and learn I wouldn’t be able to be this by the time I visit Japan. But whatever. They replaced it with gundam unicorn and I’m fine with that. I still like RX-78 though, so I’m still kinda bummed out.
They should put this thing permanently in a museum.
I see what they did there, removing the head and left arm first...
