Thank you for this interview with my hero, James. I have followed him faithfully since just after his purchase of Tritea. His understated approach to a very exciting life, filled with new adventures, often wry observations, and visits to enviable locations has been ever satisfying to me. I wasn't sure about Rhonda at first (what effect will she have on James' adventuring life) but she has quickly became a welcome addition to this ongoing story I love. Their companionship to each other truly enhances the overall story and Rhonda's presence and experiences have become part of what makes James' story so fascinating.

So cool how James isn't that guy who does the "I'm a bad ass because I know how to suffer". He just deals, no complaints and appreciation for all the beauty life gives.

@@andyklahn1320 Yeah. I also like to watch ”adventures of an old sea dog”, but poor Barry seems to go from one miserable situation to another. James goes through the same thing and is (mostly) chill about it. Like losing his engine a few hundred yards from a pounding shore…. Must be a difference is life perspectives.

These two are so 😎🧙🏻‍♂️🏞️⛵..... Only recently found out James was a fine artist. Been following him since his first trips to Catalina Island . I knew a bit about the place from its history in terms of Flyingboat services and the Avalon Cassino ..
A lot of the places james has visited have strong connections with the original long distance flyingboat services.

James keeps it real and isn't full of himself or BS. I think that his rudder breaking on his maiden sail to Hawaii is what shot his channel to fame. Maybe it would have grown anyway, but that terrifying event was a gift from God. Fair winds to them.

Very nice Interview. Always a pleasure listening to James and Rhonda and their fascinating journey ✌🏻😎yep, agree that there is never ever a perfect time to pursue your goal, dream or whatever. And agree with Rhonda that the worst thing to me would be not giving it a shot and asking myself how it would have been. I would rather fail than not trying it.

Cool interview, I was waiting to see if the incident with the tiller in New Zealand came up, had me and my daughter on the edge of our seats watching that one ✌️

@@SailorJames it looked intense, but you looked like a pro in action ⛵, it looked like you healed over a lot, a couple times there ✌️
