Such beautiful layering! I think it’s really good that you mentioned how much planning you did prior. I think a lot of us see videos and start to think we are watching wizards 😂. Because it looks like it’s all happening so quickly on video. Thank you for sharing your thoughts and process. Interesting about how your art experience helps you. I honestly feel like those coming from an art background can quickly pick up on paper crafting. Whereas those who started with paper crafting seem to be slower at picking up on art. Thank you so much Tamara. When it comes to paper crafting I'm definitely a planner, painting I'm more off the cuff. I think because once I glue something down I feel like I can't change it but with painting if I don't like it I just paint over it, easy peasy, haha! Have a great Sunday!🧡🍂
Hi Tammy I hope you are having a wonderful day. It was fun to watch you create as you layered. Sometimes, I layer, and after it is finished, I look at it and dislike it. I stubble through it, probably adding too much at points where I can not change it. So I need to get better at just laying down everything before assembling it. Sometimes, I think it comes with learning and doing. Plus, there is never a proper way. Creating should come from within. Have a wonderful weekend. Take care 🪻💜
I almost always figure out what I want to to then set it aside. Mostly because I make many items at once and I like to glue everything at the same time after I've cleaned off my desk a little. It's so true about creating coming from within, that's why it's hard to explain a process because sometimes it's just a feeling from inside. You have a wonderful weekend too!
