"People in the West can't handle it." Bullshit. The suits in Hollyweird can't handle it. The Western fans of his movies have been *begging* for The Whole Bloody Affair and/or the Japanese cut of Volume 1 for well over a decade now. Rumor has it that The Whole Bloody Affair will have some theatrical releases in 2015, and possibly a Blu-Ray release. I'll believe it when I see it! :P
Oh look, the famed "Tarantino chokes Uma" scene from Kill Bill....can't believe people are so upset about that. Looks tough, but it is clearly being done for the scene....and she has her hand on the chain, controlling the tightness. 22:32 - 22:42
Yeah, well why wouldn't Uma Thurman jump on the bandwagon of victimhood of the metoo mouvement to get the attention she hasn't been receiving from her acting career for years, actually now that I think of it,this bitch is really only known for two films, unless you want to count Batman Forever or My Super Ex-Girlfriend.
Despite what Terry Gilliam says, i Believe QT's earlier works couldn't be more realistic. The storylines, actors' performances and scenarios in his films have more than an element of truth and believability in them. That's what makes him the best writer and director working in film today.
i am a kill bill fan i love both movies and i would love to see the whole bloody affair and i disagree with Tarantino i bet western audiences could handle the Japanese version maybe not for everyone sure but like most people i at some point would love to see tje entire film as he meant it to be shown if that ever happens but if it doesn't i am still cool with the 2 volumes dose not bother me and hey i could see the longer cut and not enjoy it as much i personally have found that with some movies rob zombie's Halloween i prefer the theatrical cut way more then the unrated same with grindhouse i love the shorted versions of both planet terror and death proof rather then the extended cuts but still would love to see kill bill as a whole
+EVAN REID We could "handle it" but I think Quentin was and is still tired of the media only focusing on the violence and not the whole movie. I would love to see the japanese cut in english, it must be fun
+Nathan Bartocci Truly loving cinema and being analytically acute and knowing onces references is probably a good start. Seems to work for quite a few interviewers
What? I think he'd be one of the easiest interviews. You ask a question and he gives you so much. You don't need to pull teeth at all. BTW, her calling his dialog "clunky" is not very astute.
I think she was calling Reservoir Dogs and Pulp Fiction 'B' movies. Cause she said Jackie Brown "suggested Tarantino was about to grow out of B movies"......

Tarantino is living legend....
I love that he called out the interviewer about her misinformation multiple times lolol
'Clunky'
I love it when Tarantino shuts down rude interviewers...

What a beautiful lunatic. We don't have hitchcock or kubrick, thank god we still have scorcese and tarantino
22:47
You’re welcome
I legit jumped... Thanks for that
what in the name of sweet holy jesus was that laugh at 22:45?
I love you, Quentin.
Condesending and insulting interviewer with a closed mind and full of bad questions.
Guys a legend.
what could she have possibly meant by "clunky dialogue"?
Well the script is a little 'off' in places, but overall it's fairly slick.
@@LandersWorkshop bullshit.
I guess it's from 2003, when Kill Bill Vol. 1 was released.
He sounds like he has a sore throat in this video
He says alright an awful lot alright.
The best film director ever.
Alright?
It has a real gangster element to it regarding the whole trying to get out and paying for it (with your life) thing

The awkward moment when you realise he isn't wearing a shirt
The Evil dead rise.
klunky dialogue?????
Who gives a fuck about corporate critics , they don't know shit about music.
Thanks for posting this! Great stuff.
He would be one of the most difficult individuals to interview. You need to tread lightly. Kirsty Wark did a good job.

Good interview, I don't think he was in a particularly good mood that day, but she made it work!
Foreshadowing Basterds
