Critical thinking could be taught without targeting jinnah and struggle for Pakistan. Jinnah was a great leader because he has protected the rights of Muslims and led the struggle which resulted in separate homeland for Muslims.
At the time of partition one million died and 15 million were displaced as Muslims fled to Pakistan, and Hindus and Sikhs headed in the opposite direction.
It was political struggle that was started after 1857 war, the struggles of Sir Syed Ahmed Khan, Muhammad Ali Jinnah, Molana Muhammad Ali Jaohar, Liaqat Ali Khan and countless others offered their sacrifices, Massacre of Muslims during Jalianwala Bagh incident was one of them.After the consequences of second world war two, it was difficult for British government to manage control in subcontinent.

In my view, the speaker deliberately diverted from the main notion and did not talk in detail about 'Critical Thinking'. Instead, he started an unjust debate about the creation of Pakistan, struggle, created doubts and focused on his past history - away from the real topic. Avoid listening to such self-opinionated talks and learn from renowned intellectuals!
I found Thair Malik's views controversial, illogical and personal - I find such self-proclaimed experts are narrow minded, arrogant and intentionally confuse the audience!
