I work with young HS student athletes…kids nowadays are still going through this. Breaks my heart how there are people that treat others like they aren’t worthy. One time an athlete came up to me and was feeling suicidal because he thinks he is a nobody in the family and won’t be successful after high school. I used the lyrics from this song and encouraged him, he made a huge turn around and now he is doing great as a young adult. I’m so proud of him to this day. It only takes one to change a life to succeed. Be that ONE!

Eight months ago I discovered this song. Eight months ago I was still in hell, in high school, where I didn't belong. I went through a time when I didn't want to be alive because I thought I had no place and no one wanted me here. But this song was one of the few things that helped keep me going. Britt Nicole, you are a good person. This song is a wonderful piece of art that got me through so much. I remember being 13 when I listened to this song all the time and it became my comfort song. Anytime I felt really low or worthless, I would listen to this song and it always made me feel better. I still cry when I hear it, but a feel good cry. Now I’m 22 years old it’s crazy how much this song still has an impact on me. OMG, finally, finally, I've found it! 😭 I first heard this amazing song back in 2014, and it has always fascinated me. But, inexplicably, I forgot the title and most of the lyrics, except for its tune. Since then, I've been repeatedly trying to recall its title by singing the few lyrics I remember and murmuring its tune. Unfortunately, I did not figured out the title.
