    Talk about unleashing musical power. Super impressed with the midi chord structure pack. Tried a selection of chords in an 8 sequence to load into the chord trigger. Instant wow using the BBC Symphony Orchestra. Feel like I've moved from floundering amateur to maestro in a blink. Awesome tutorial, awesome midi chord pack.

    Is there a way to write the Chords on top like in the marker or arrangement? Similar to Cubase? And see the Chords played in the display?

    I have an ipad and I have logic on it, however I dont have a mac, I have a real hard time learning all the features that I need on the ipad, because there are very few tutorial videos for logic pro for ipad on UA-cam. I really wanna master this DAW and be able to use it my church so enhance the music experience for the members who attend. I truly need some direction as to how I can approach this. Hope you could help. Thank you.

    Does the chord trigger only play perfectly quantised chords? Is there a way, other than humanising in the midi edit, to get them to sound a bit more natural instead of all notes in the chord starting at exactly the same time?

  • @stephanblaize
    @stephanblaize 2 місяці тому

    Is there a way to have the chord trigger play chord in the key that you set your project to? For example, I want a B major but the chord trigger just plays the same chords when you open it and you have to change them manually to the key that you’re in. Shouldn’t it just adjust by itself?

    Got an unrelated tech question if you don't mind. Lately I'm having a problem with playback after i record a vocal. The track plays fine and then will just cut to static sound for like 4 seconds and then vocal comes back in. Any suggestions on whats the problem with Logic and how to fix it? I enjoy using Logic but some "basic" things just need to work consistently. Thank you for your insight!

    • @MusicTechHelpGuy
      @MusicTechHelpGuy 6 місяців тому

      Is the noise 'baked' into the vocal recording? Does it consistently happen at the same time in each recording? If so, that probably means you have a bad cable on input that is causing that noise. If not, and the noise is just random, you may want to try to increase your I/O buffer size under Logic Pro > Settings. Use lower buffer sizes when recording, and higher buffers when editing and working on your project. Or select one of the middle options like 128 and just stick with it until you get to mixing. Might be that you are just experience noise from your CPU not able to keep up, which having a higher buffer will fix. Could also be that the sync between the Mac and your audio interface is not aligned, which can cause sample rate sync issues and noise. For this, just change your buffer size to another value, then change it back and the interface and computer will 're-ping' and sync up. If it's something other than that, it's probably more likely an issue on the hardware end, with the audio interface, cables, speakers, etc. than it is a problem with Logic.

      @randypiano11 6 місяців тому

      Thanks so much for your reply! It it happens at random so it’s not an audio cable or really a hardware issue. It’s definitely something within logic. I’ll try increasing the buffer size and see how that goes. Thanks again.

    This is ok, but the process is still too manual - picking the trigger note and all. I need an automated way to convert chord sets from Scaler 2 or RipChord en mass.
