The men of Philadelphia is out there getting it done! Everywhere I look I see men at work; construction, landscaping, sanitation, parks and recreation, Clip, PennDot, SEPTA, etc. It’s the most beautiful sight to behold! My block has quite a few gardners, the city cleaning plus our gardening is motivating my other neighbors, who normally don’t do gardening to participate. We always offer our assistance and now they’re getting estimates for patios, retaining walls, etc. for the front of their homes so they can plant flowers, collard greens, cabbage, herbs, and lay mulch! We garden in the afternoon, then enjoy the view with a cool glass of spirits on our patios in the evening! I love my neighbors!
RESIDENTS need to keep it clean. The City is trying to start something positive. BUY brooms. Buy trash cans with attached lids. Stop sitting grocery bags of trash on the curb days before pickup. THAT WOULD HELP.
As a resident of Philadelphia its about time people realize this is a dirty city but we all need to play our part to keep it clean and use trashcans we deserve a great city.
I’m going to be honest… I didn’t have much hope when she came into office… but she seems to be doing some good things… let’s hope she continues and ESPECIALLY holds criminals accountable.
@@GcodeTv267 We cheer on our favorite sports teams and players… we cheer for our favorite singers, artists and entertainers… Politicians doing their best for all of us should be expected, but it’s not the reality.
If cleaning the streets is the only thing she does as mayor, that is more than any other mayor has done in many years. Kudos to the mayor. Now, that she has started this cleaning up she has to continue every week to keep it the way other cities do.
@@PaulFormentos She seems to govern with an all at once approach to get issues tackled quickly. I'm hoping she has been having law enforcement quietly gather info on all the repeat criminals in this city so she can swoop in and get them all at the same time El Salvador style. She'd win my vote for realection in a heartbeat if she does that.
I'm not going to lie. She standing on business! I've never heard a mayor talk about cleaning up Kensington let alone the city. Violent crime has dropped also. Yeah I've gotten parking tickets since the fact, but that's just due to human error.🤷🏾♂️
She has them out there working. Trash is picked up on my street usually before 7AM. I hope she gets the dogs and their owners in check ad ban the darn fireworks.
That's because they haven't arrested the criminals. If you want the city and streets to be clean. Get the criminals in jail so the neighborhood's residency will be more inclined to come out and clean the street on their down time. The only thing that is stopping this is the fact that philly votes back the Soros DA.
Mayor Parker is just amazing. Thank God for her. We finally got the Mayor we deserve. She really cares and I love her! Hope I get to meet her some day. She is a Superstar!
I used to commute into Northeast Philly every evening for work and as a Volunteer Firefighter from Bucks County, it is just sad to look at dozens of Hydrants vandalized here and there and I really hope next they can restore and put Hydrants back in service, because without no water, we can’t put out no damn fire and it can take down an entire block which can potentially cause more people to live on the street with no roof over their heads if we can’t put it out in time! But yeah I am not really a fan of the Democrats but okay Mayor Parker, I’ll give you that at least…..
It is a great effort. I live in Germantown at Green and Mannheim. The people that walk my streets are filthy. It is impossible to keep my sidewalk clean. And I am often ticketed. If it is impossible for me it is most definitely going to be impossible for the city to follow up on the effort. I greatly appreciate our mayor and her effort.
Does "cleaning every Philadelphia neighborhood" also mean actually charging criminals even if they ARE black? Because if it doesn't, you're just going to have a lot of criminals gunning each other down in nice sparkly neighborhoods. 1:15.. yes... there is also a strong connection between liberal cities and crime. There is also connection between woke activist mayors and a cashless bail system. There is also a connection between the bail reform that actually happened, and violent repeat offenders being caught for the same assaults, grapes, and murders 3,4,5 times in a row.
How about them fake temp tags that are like roaches everywhere

free country of a few, America......Worst controledd country North Korea.... Do any of our leaders in the west understand this HUGE difference? dear Lord help us...
Maybe do things like they do in Japan where they teach kids to clean up after themselves and to respect public property. It would be cheaper. Nothing is going to change if people are dirty slobs.
Imagine teaching that to ghetto kids. Most are influenced by the bad apple. It will be hard for those areas. Especially when the older folks, usually the (most) men, are man child. Get the criminals out, the drugs off the street and then I will consider that a W for Parker and Philly. Too bad we got the Soros DA
I wish I could enjoy this, but my constitutional and property rights have been denied repeatedly. I’ve been singled out on the block while many of my neighbors continue to violate codes. Been falsely accused of being of being transgender as well as denied proper medical attention amongst many other things.
Good job. Republican that can respect it. If mixers move atleast stay PA. Delco Sixers, chester baby. Yo we have taken in alot of city kids in schools hook us up
That's nice, however, unless you continue to do this on a weekly basis, it means nothing. P.S. Fairmount does not appreciate your sneaky way of moving Kensington drug addicts to the neighborhood, so maybe clean that up too.
That's the issue. Move the drugs and the drug addicts around philly like a JANE. No arrests, thanks to the SOROS DA and cashless bail. If Philly voted for the right DA, things would be getting done. And we cannot forget about police restrictions being put on Police officers.
The city used to clean the streets what happened? They have the equipment so what they just clean the tourist areas ? Or the special service district s all that money the city skimmed of the soda tax that was supposed to help the school district you remember that don't you ?
Prepping the place for full out GENTRIFICATION, and how does this derail youth engaging in crime easier than getting a job or sitting in a responsible elementary and high school setting. The face-lift is for the outsiders with money that need the place clean before they invest that BREAD. THE GAMES THEY PLAY WITH THE PEOPLE; MADNESS!
If you attended any of the town hall meetings held by any of the district councilperson, this was the main thing that WE ALL complained about, second to the crime. This is what we wanted and they are using some of the cash reserves left over from Covid to fund it. The money has to be used by the end of the year. This is being done WITHOUT raising our taxes. The crime is a separate issue, separate funding, and another story.
Yep, that's how they did it in Houston starting back in the 90s. Wait for the dilapidated houses to start getting torn down or burned down. Leaves empty lots for developers to buy up and start building modern cookie cutter townhouses. Follow the money as they say.

I'm seeing this around the city. Great job Mayor Parker .
RESIDENTS need to keep it clean. The City is trying to start something positive. BUY brooms. Buy trash cans with attached lids. Stop sitting grocery bags of trash on the curb days before pickup. THAT WOULD HELP.
Great point. If we over rely on government then the city will over spend on cleaning the streets.
As a resident of Philadelphia its about time people realize this is a dirty city but we all need to play our part to keep it clean and use trashcans we deserve a great city.
Gotta start somewhere. Kudos.

lets see when they show up in Mayfair I've been waiting two years to get the city planted tree in front my pruned was told they are very busy
Ya but what about gang stalking

At 9:00 a.m. at Kensington train station it's clean but at 12:00 a.m. at night it's filthy.😮
