About the only video on UA-cam for electro swing where the title has no mention of a "Mix" (not a load of other TY rips pasted back to back and reposted) but actually *IS* one. Interesting selection too. Bit housey for me (edit: near the beginning!) but very well put together. Nice one!
as always on UA-cam loads of petty arguing about whos the best and who.is right.... blah blah....!! I think its.more.important that there is MORE of this.kind of music and more artists making!!! now thats a discussion worth having!
To be fair, the transitions are a bit annoying and repetative, so I can see why you'd dislike the video. I don't because I know a lot of time and work went into the video, and I apprechiate it whether I like it or not c:
OK. i just received the mail, that here is an answer on my last comment, and i am a little shocked, that there are now 11 dislikes on that mix. i follow electro swing music for over 7 years now and phos toni is one of the very first dj and producers of electro swing genre. and who knows little things about djing would never say something against that mix. His mixing belongs in imo to the best in the world. you need to check out his "swing that vinyl" mix series. But i think that people may dislike this mix, because of the trackselection and association to electro swing. he provokes with the styles, in the beginning of the mix, by playing more housy tunes and lot's of his new and unknown tracks and not so famous tracks by parov stelar or caravan palace. hey but why not, there is no law for how electro swing should have to sound like. i am happy that there is new and fresh stuff and if you check out other electro swing mixtapes you always hear the same electro swing tracks. so i guess people click to that video and are disappointed that it is not the same tracks like you hear in any other mix. sorry for my English, i am from germany.

I think comparing any of the various styles is pointless. If you enjoy the music, enjoy the music. If you don't, go listen to something you do like. It's nobody's business to tell others what artist is better than another. It's for them to decide, and nobody needs the negativity that comes with comparing fundamentally unique styles.
Yeah! Don't waste your time with that shit. That's the great thing - there is a great choice of other Electro Swing styles stuff out there :) but thanks for tuning in, anyways.
