I'm going to have to do some more research for home assistant. I was just going to do a docker container but it looks like that than limit things, and then full version requires a specific kernal of debian. Hopefully I can get it working well, and if so I'll do a video on it.
@@StackingLayers for all benefits of home assistant you needs supervised installation. You can find same installation instructions on orange pi 3b Two simple automations that I use every day. Turning off printer when job done, through smart socket after hotend cools down. And turning off lights in printer when I'm not at workplace via presence sensor.
@jimmyboyorsk yeah that's what I was looking Into. The issue is it looks like the supervised version requires Debian bookworm. And I believe the pi2 is on Buster at the moment. From what I've heard, it should get bookworm soon though.

Will this eventually work on HAOS or only docker version?
That part I'm going to have to research. I had just planned on doing the docker install to test it out.
