You only get 10 games a day and as you battle each player can throw challenges to each other like speed up and slow down. I’m not sure when it will be back in the game but we normally get a notice before the update

Lots of practice! Some battles are harder than others, but if your practice hard mode songs then doing music battle shouldn’t be too difficult
When will music battle come back?
I'm not sure, I think SuperStar announces it on their Twitter right before the update, so we may not know until closer to the update
