Thanks! not sure how you would calculate it but the river was about 2.5 meters down for this one and it worked ok. I guess if you made one with a pole twice as long. because its held together with ropes its easy to adjust the length. I tied the log on then moved the pole across the tripod until it balanced.
It’s great and simple! How to calculate the size of each part? We have a almost 100 well in the country and the waterblevel is at 5 meters down.
