my food costs are slashed in half since i started using just the indy restaurant part. I dont cook anymore or eat pastries so I dont bother with anything else Good grief this was comprehensive
That Millie’s cookies looks like a monster amount of munch for that price !!! Definitely going to give it a go next time I’m in toon record shopping!!!!
I understood every thing you said - Londoner here, who always heard Newcastle accent was so hard to understand. Rubbish. I just wanted to see your experience of Too Good to Go!! Most of those were pretty good value I must say. The Pizza Express was the biggest disappointment (much as I love dough balls, you could buy them cheaper at Sainsburys or Tescos in the freezer section - can't remember who sells PE stuff). I got turned all my work mates on this app a few years ago, and recommend it to visitors for cheap food when they are in UK.
some items are not even to the value they claim. they may claim 15 pound of items but if reduced then your bag valued at the full price. some places may give you a small amount of items. some places are far better than others. Dicksons is quiet good. the dearer the place the less you can get. and you can pay more for the bag. some bags may only have 2 or 3 items in and stuff you may not like you can get luck and get a good items but you have to accept you are not paying full price for a reduced or end of day stock dont think your £5 one was worth it at all.
