Great review! I have a similar Rear View Mirror dash cam for my Model S (which allows me to do 2k front and 2k rear). The lack of wifi is not a big deal because if you want to watch/playback videos, you can watch it directly from the mirror display, which is a large screen. Will watch your other dash cam reviews soon.

Your absolutely right, you can also watch the video directly from the Dash Cam, some dash cam has poor play back ability which you can't scrub thru the video, kinda have to force you watch the entire footage.

@@ProTecStation My one is the VanTop H612T 12" 4k mirror dash cam. They are all very similar and the brand is not too important; just find one that suits you. I've been using mine for almost 18 months and it's been great.

I have the same model. The rear camera can be connected in such a way that the display switches on automatically when reverse gear is engaged. Only a highly zoomed image section is then displayed. Unfortunately, switching to full camera image is not possible. There are no more firmware updates. My rear camera is attached from the outside. In cold, wet weather the lens fogs up from the inside.
