- UCFSports.com takes you to Lawrence for the first ever game between the UCF Knights and Kansas Jayhawks. This is the final season of this version of David Booth Memorial Stadium which will soon undergo massive renovations, part of KU's $300M "Gateway District" to be completed prior to the 2025 season. As always, here's the view of the atmosphere and what it felt like inside and outside the stadium.

That was a tough one. Now UCF goes to Norman to face #5 Oklahoma! Count that as a loss. But try to keep within a touchdown and I'm happy! It's what we've always wanted so expect the losses along with the wins! Go Knights! Charge ON!!!
Here in the future we are 4-5 just beat 2-7 Cincinnati 28-26 only loss to ou 29-31 so pretty close and also loss to West Virginia 41-28
Second oldest stadium west of the Mississippi. John Wooden helped work on it while in Lawrence learning from Dr. Naismith. The Wizard of Westwood left hand prints in the concrete somewhere.

I seen pictures of John Wooden standing between Dr. Naismith and Phog standing on the hill.
I know they got renovations coming but I’m always surprised at how basic that stadium is
that stadium makes me appreciate UCF's and the area we live in lol
The area? Our football stadium has one of the best settings in college football even if the stadium is a POS - won't be much longer and will make your erector set stadium look awful

Lawrence is like 30 mins from KC suburbs, but OK. Stadium and entire area will receive major upgrades soon.
That said, good luck to UCF. I think UCF will be a Big 12 power soon.
Next is Oklahomas. And its way better than them all
@@begley9KU has the worst stadium in the Big 12 and it’s not even close.
KU still getting used to being good there attendance is growing compared to one time in 2021 against OU they letting people in for free
