The system bugs like replying to messages got fixed. and i got used to photo app really quick, so no problem for me.

Yess, click share for Copy to clipboard makes everything easier, and it's so much basic every UI should have this feature.

Exactly bhai your are absolutely correct everything is fine except that crappy MIUI which literally kills their premium devices such as Mi10, Mi10T series and Mi11x series but they are not doing anything to improve it feels like they are not giving a shit to improve software.
This notification bug is also on my redmi note 9 pro when I updated it to miui 12 on android 11

Are you facing bluetooth connectivity issues? My replacement (Redmi note 10 pro max) struggles to connect to my bluetooth earphones. Takes a million years to connect with success rate of 1/10.

I have been using redmi note 7 pro . It still feels really great when it comes to performance and camera . but miui ruin everything . I recommend everyone to put a Custom rom like pixel experience if u really want to experience a clear , smoother UI . And xiaomi has a great community for custom roms

There's a simple solution for animations, enable developer options and change transition speed to 0.5x. Its a whole new experience.. I did this on poco x3, can't go back to default 1x now

I had flickering issue, but my phone got replaced by mi service center, and new ph has new display problem, upper portion of display pixels are more brighter, it's only noticeable on deep gray and Prussian blue colour.

@Rajat Kaushal well yeah actually true the only reason I didn't custom ROM on my note 10 pro till now cuz I am very skeptical and I bricked my dad's redmi note 7 with that slim chance cuz of the stupid youtuber showed me a file to install didn't tell if that didn't work there is an alternative so without installing that file I took matters in my own hand and ruined it the more I tried to fix it the more I ruined it after hours I finally flashed miui back in it so after that experience I am very skeptical

You will only brick if you follow someone without knowing anything. Read a little see 4 to 5 videos. Try to know why to do what to do and don't go crazy like flashing everything you want changing too many roms kernel firmware etc. Believe me there is no chance of bricking. Plus your hardware warranty doesn't goes away. Using arrow os on my poco m2 pro

For fingerprint you should try removing and adding the FP once again. It's due to update messes sometimes

I Have been facing the same problem in my Poco X3 ... Whenever i use full screen gesture and go to home screen through any app i can see jitters which nullifies 120hz smoothness ...So i switch to navigation buttons 😒😒

We can change the layout of the modes to swipe up under camera > Customize> camera modes
Thereby you can select More panel to change the modes by swiping up
This will be useful when you switch modes frequently.
The stutter issue in the UI is also present in the M2 pro and i guess in almost every redmi phone out there. Miui needs to be quite a lot optimized

One more thing worth making note is.. I've two xiaomi phones, i had bought an year ago.. nd for both, the battery life has drastically reduced.. drastically.. its still good to go.. but the decrease in SOT i get now, is very very noticeable..

You have to sit with the phone for a while to really know it,, and really see how it performs whether it's consistent or if it was just the first impression that was great.. I've seen this video a month back and came back to comment... After buying Mi 10i with Miui, can confirm each and every bug you pointed out... WhatsApp notifications is a legit issue that no one talks about... notification management is trash in Miui... can't even set different notification settings for different Instagram profiles... Ads and all are minor and can be disabled but Nothing can be done about this... Kudos to Sundar for pointing it out... Wonder if no other has the issue or they aren't testing the Devices enough... Copy to clipboard is not there natively but many apps have it which is a respite... Also another bug that's annoying that I noticed is... When you get 2-3 notifications while typing a message in WhatsApp and you get a message from the other end of the chat you're typing in... If all 3 happen at the same time, the phone locks... Weird bug that's pretty annoying... Can anyone else using Miui confirm this?
PS. Mi 10i is 6 months old and there's no fix 🥲
*User experience was something Xiomi shined at. NOT ANYMORE! They just don't care anymore. They are getting good sales even if they are providing crappy UI. They lauch a product, forgets it moves to the next. No regular updates and bug fixes.*
I really wanted to buy this phone, but I made a pro player move and bought the non pro version. It has less bugs and stutters and I don't mind using a 60 Hz samoled for another 3 or 4 years. Or till 5G would reach my place. If you are using the phone for calls, social media and media consumption and lil bit of gaming (PES 2021), I am guessing even the non pro version does a great job.
I definitely check for your reviews before getting any gadgets, always have be very helpful. Waiting for the reviews on bluetooth neckbands and TWS. (Compare and contrast with the excel sheet)

No, that is terrible buying decision, while yes it is powerful, equally compared to other i7 or ryzen 5/7 device, games don't run on MacOS, and knowing how much more expensive it cost in india compared to the intel or ryzen competitor, there's no need to buy mac, unless you're a heavy fanboy user, get something from dell like their XPS, or Hp with their envy lineup, hp omen is also a clean work laptop, that have a gaming GPU, lenovo with their slim 5 or yoga.
Just try to stay away from MacBook if can, those recommendations above i mention above is as premium, if not more, than MacBook actually

hopefully a good custom rom will be released,so that pro users can benefit from better android plus probably even a better battery life ,as the whole android vs apple is all about user,if he/she wants or search for,can modify or customize much more than other mobile OSes.
Finally, someone talked about this. I am a guy who focuses on good UX and software experience coming from using Samsung and OnePlus. MIUI sucks big time. This notification issue is annoying to the core and generally across the platform as well. I believe these will be fixed on MIUI 12.5. Fingers crossed.
And this dark mode. I disliked the forced dark mode on apps which doesn't support it. I had to switch off all apps and then enable through the app if it supports. Wow, we seem to have an eye for these kinds of things. Not sure why this is not been talked about more.
BTW, I am MI 10T Pro user.

IMO the animations cannot t be smooth - 732G, heck even 765g cannot handle 120Hz at all times.

Whatsapp notification is really messed up for me in Redmi note 9 pro max after doing miui12.0.1.0 update last day .Storage in about device is not even accessible also i encountered much much lag after A11 in gaming and as well as daily usage.The sad part is that i cant even unlock my bootlaoder for the N-th time
And user experience is the prime thing. You interact with phone to use all the features. If it doesn't unlock at one go, doesn't show me the msgs properly, didn't open the last app quickly, then that's a big No No
Ram management in general have been bad with miui. Now even the performance have dipped. Probably they should go back to old miui

This is the reason why I used to flash custom ROMs in my old phone - Redmi Note 5 Pro. Every software build has bugs here and there, but in MIUI the bugs will persist for a very very long time and won't get fixed. Forget gaming, basic apps like Outlook and Gmail used to crash in my phone (MIUI 10). All this led me to have a very negative impression about Xiaomi phones.
There has been an issue with the miui 12's software base idk but i have 4 xiaomi phones one running miui 11(not updated) but another with miui 12, nd guess what fp is not working as it should.
I own Moto G60. It has great carrier aggregation feature and internet speed. What about this one?

I totally agree with every point. I purchased a new device myself. I purchased mi 11x. Software is very buggy. Eg- I cannot turn on reading mode from notification toggle. I need to press and hold, go to settings and then turn it on. It does not have notification led. It has google dailer as default but not google camera. Android 11 xiaomi feels half baked. My old redmi note 8 pro had bugs after factory reset. Hence I got this. Same experience. This will be my last xiaomi phone.

4:20, I don't know bro that problem for all , every youtubers review unit got some bugs like fingerprint sensor,, but the one we bought never had such issues, and mostly ad is much much less compared to 2 years ago miui, only ad problem is in youtube.

you forgot to mention one major thing.. miui phones can deliver massive sound quality via 3.5 audio jack. i bought this phone just to listen songs . but there's a massive flickering sound while plying sound at 60 percentage or above volume. this can be fixed by switch mono on then turning back to off. but i had to do this process after every song. the sound is annoying.. its nothing to do with hardware since it can be fixed by turning mono.. mi should consider this as a serious problem. i have tried comparing with poco .. the bass ,treble is identical to poco. but the flickering sound.. is quite annoying..
