Had the extreme pleasure of meeting Mr. Leeb a couple times when he was with Skinny Puppy back in the day & multiple times since with Front Line, most recently in Denver a few months back. Always incredible & look forward to seeing him again in the future.
As my favorite artist, a Bill Leeb solo project is one of the 4 hopes I'v had for his music. The other 3 being: 1. More Chris Peterson collab FLA records like Implode, Epitaph, & Flavor. 2. More Kristy Thirsk centered Delerium records. 3. A new instrumental project. This solo record is a home run, so good.
It's very nice. The variety in melodies is welcome. 3:34 reminds me of Cymatics' Science VS. Music and its graphene oxyde, electric ball and antennas and stuff.
