its refreshing to hear a technical band with grooves and good melodies most of the time its more on the technical side and grooves and melodies get lost but this is GREAT
They have one now! I think there is a policy on metallum that a band has to have at least one full-length to go on the site, I heard that from the Prescience band.
@@HailNihilism Probably the reason Metal Archives has tons of core bands registered but no Infant Annihilator (some guy on UA-cam even argued while reviewing the Elysian Grandeval that the admins of Metal Archives might think that the album's beyond metal xD (post-metal?))
I don't think I heard a single bad band on this label, it's like you only let the best of the best on Artisan Era! Please keep finding amazing bands🤘🤘🤯
I feel the same, I have checked out 7 bands, and like all 7. Ha ha, bought two bands stuff, Equipoise and Mordant Rapture, really like Flub and Symbolik and Inferi as well, just f**** metal!
Seeing the name flub I honestly wasn't expecting to like this, but this is fucking amazing, they've really found their own style and flavour with the interesting little jazzy/neo-classical bits. I'll be listening to this again
@@viktorkostadinovkenarov9646 some of my favorite modern tech death recorde over an hour (or around there) would be Demiurgus, Where Owls Know My Name, Revenant, Apoptosis, Abhorrent Metamorphosis, A Parting Current and The Nightspirit's Call
It's crazy how talented these guys are. The sound "signature" of this band too is heavily reminiscent (at least to me) on 2002-2008 era progressive metalcore, but these guys have an incredibly unique technical approach to that sub-genre, creatively combining technical metal riffs/licks with metalcore style progressions.
Good ear dude, and thank for the compliment. I like to throw in metal core influences in our music and michael our vocalist is also a fan and has some influences from that era as well.
There’s def a lot going on here but Switch out the singer and drummer and this could easily pass as something that may bother some of you........ metalcore ahhhhhh!! If the shoe fits were it with pride, seems to fit my size 13 just fine🤣
Blossom sounds so amazing oh my god it's probably like my third favorite song like ever. And my 1st Place is through the fire and the flames while my 2nd favorite is Captive Bolt Pistol. So that's saying something!
Don't know why, but this sounds like they were this evil little goblins that somehow managed to have a proper metal band and imitate Tech Death how humans play it.

That's my biggest complaint too. It'll he technically. But, where the Hells the melody?

Umbra Mortis is freaking awesome. The album is a killer in any case! Great discovery
Nostalgic. It reminds me of the pre 2010 years.
That intro riff though!
Eloy is a sick composer.
Thanks again TAE, you're on fire this year!!! \m/

Lol its tech death...that vocals style comes from death metal, grindcore. Nothing similar with metalcore
@@blekmetal8140 it's a combination of both, which was my point.
