I like the way you make your kitchen hanging towels. They’re unique and professional, like none I’ve seen before! Using potholders for the top is brilliant! The color of your curtains is coming across as a sage green-one of my favorite colors. I have some sage upholstery fabric that’s been in my stash for at least ten years. 😂 Welcome back for week two; so happy to see you.
Hi Lynn! Thank you so much, and thanks for stopping by. A friend of mine gifted me a similar dish towel several years ago and I thought it was a brilliant gift idea. When I bought the curtain fabric, 2 decades ago, sage was my favourite! And I drive a 20-year old van that is sage green. 😊
Hi Lisa Ann! Welcome to #fridaysews! Those western shirts will make beautiful throw pillows for your daughter. I make those kitchen towels too, I love them and give them as gifts too!!! Thank you for sharing your sewing projects with us! Have a Sew Blessed Day!🤗💗🙏
Hi Lisa, I am greeting you from south Africa. I love having my sewing machine and over-locker next to each other . It makes such a difference in work flow. And the little sewing table that belonged to your Gran! It is such a treasure! Happy sewing!
Hi! Thanks for stopping by and taking time to comment. It has absolutely been a benefit to have both my machine and serger plugged in and ready to sew!
oh, Lisa!!! I LOVE your sewing area!!! And, I love your serger I see in the background!! I think we have the same serger. You are getting me so inspired to sew. I was kind of stuck. I think I'm going to try to watch your videos this weekend! lol! (my husband is busy refurbing the RV) So, I am left alone for a few weekks! I love your pillow ideas and of course love the towel. I'll have to search and watch those videos. I love that idea!! I'm so happy to have met you, Lisa. Have a wonderful weekend! Love always, Jeanie
WOW! You got through that pile of jeans real fast!! You have been inspired! That's what I like about this collaboration -- so many people working on brilliant projects and their enthusiasm keeps me motivated! I'll have to check out your video for making those towels. I have always liked them and usually buy a couple at craft fairs. Weeeellllll, I really should be making my own! Have a great week-end!
I was nice watching you! You sewing machine looks like the Singer I learned to sew on. Ours didn't even have a backstitch. I complain about not have my machine cut the threads! ps, I am definitely going to make your squash casserole
You have so many projects in the pipeline! I don't know how you cope with it. I made similar hanging tea towel things from a Pinterest idea a few years ago but I like the look of yours better. I still can't get over the size of your closet space but I know you share it with your sewing. We have such small wardrobes generally in the Uk 🤣. Great video and you are such a competent sewist, you put your hand to anything it seems, well done 👏🏼.
Thank you Carole! I really just had a lot of half-done projects, and when they are completed I will slow down a great deal. I am amazed by the number of garments some of these ladies make each week!
That's alot of projects! Welcome to fridaysews!😊 the curtains look great! I recently put up a pegboard behind my sitting area to make it look better..but I forgot to mention it lol

Pegboards are a smart idea. I may put one in front of my machine. That would be very handy!
@@LisaAnnSpencer I got it in the back to school section at Walmart for $14😉
That’s awesome! I’ll be sure to check there next time I’m shopping at Walmart. Thank you!
