Halo was always a game I saw as my dad's favorite, I used to play the campaign coop with him, and I really enjoyed it, but playing it on my own, especially multiplayer, was never something I considered, and so I choose the absolute worst time to do so, Halo Infinite. For real, just the fact that a person like me who isn't really a Halo fan can play Halo infinite and say "This doesn't feel like Halo" really speaks by itself. It's not one of my favorite games, but I respect it a lot, I wanted to start enjoying it but choose the worst time, so I'm highly considering going back and play the actual Halo, the good ones.
It was characters like Keyes, Johnson, the flood and others that were missing from Halo Infinite, the other thing missing was the variety of environments that you might find on a Halo ring. Halo CE took you to so many different places, the swamps, a beach, snow-covered mountain tops, and the underworkings of the ring itself. Infinite was like the level where you first land on Halo in CE stretch out to a full game. Halo CE is still the best and remains so to this day, with Halo 3 being a close second, and then Reach coming in third.
Law another great video! I still remember the moment I discovered halo at a friends house. Gathered all the money I could over months to buy one myself. Then beat it coop and remember being scared when the flood showed up. My mom use to let me have friends over and we’d system link all night and play tournaments. Wonderful memories. Halo will always hold that special spot in my heart.

I have a special issue with Roblox. It's also one I have with Fortnite. The issue isn't just that Roblox has massive amounts of MTX, it's that it's beyond doubt, based on their user base and advertising that they are a kids game. What that means, is they are targeting KIDS with that shit. An age group where the value of money has yet to actually engrain in their mind. An age group where they're very likely to develop bad habits, become gamblers and make impulse decisions. There is nothing on this earth more scummy than trying to monetise children. With Minecraft, I knew the moment Microsoft stuck their dick in that it would not have a great future. They have what feels like the opposite of Midas touch these days, where anything they touch turns to shit. Whenever I still play it, I only play modded versions like Feed the Beast. There's nothing really left to entice me about the version Microsoft have had a hand in making. Issue of course being that's only an option for PC. Also, don't get me started on Dying Light, one of my favourite games of all time. Anything with a good parkour system is instantly a classic in my book. And New Vegas, I think with vanilla and modded runs, I've put over 3k hours in that game. Might be my most played game of all time. Please don't worry about your rants. These comments have been really entertaining to read tbh. You're my favourite kind of viewer 😂 I'm thinking of making a discord so people can more easily talk to me about shit like this. This is my favorite game in the series and remains in that spot to this day, the clunky-ish charm, the graphics, sound effects, progression of story and especially the Soundtrack, everything about this game feels so cosy to boot up and play no matter what mood I'm in and I love every bit. Fiance got to play it properly since some 'friends' of hers in the past just kept griefing her on the second level because they were just childish, I recently convinced her to give it a second chance with me on MCC, both rocking the game like the good old days of split screen on Normal difficulty with the old Graphic/Sound settings and she absolutely loved it. (She loves the Covenant Dance soundtrack the most, bless her.) Halo: CE, my- No...our beloved. A fantastic love letter, Law.
