One of the scariest Leverage episodes ever. Not going to lie, I had a sudden cold sunken feeling in my chest, choked up with tears flowing watching this.
I watched the entire series, again, in four days and I have to admit that Hardison and Elliot were the best part of the series. I loved them, and I miss them.
In my opinion, the worst feeling ever is when you finish a series you truly love. The emptiness you feel when you see the end credits pop up for the last time, it just makes you want to cry...
+ClearlyAss - Completely agree. Got that same feeling when House and Burn Notice ended. In my opinion they nixed this one a little too early. Why they never made a spin-off with Eliot, Parker and Hardison is beyond me...
I love the way the finale has so many little homages to the beginning of the series... Parker changing in the elevator... "20 pounds of crazy in a 5 pound bag"... The overhead shot of the 5 of them in a circle, before they go separate ways... Not to mention the last line of "We provide...Leverage..." So cool
Bayougirl78 Also he standing in a circle, shot from above scene was a recurring one throughout the series, not only in the first episode but also at the ends of seasons too.
Leverage is just a classically good show, every episode is formulaic yet entertaining, with a good balance of happiness to angst, it's a little bit old school but it's not cringy, you could put it on in the background or when you're bored or getting over a breakup.
No!! I was so sad!!! But then I realized it had only been 15 minutes into the show then I calmed down. LOL!! But I'm still mad this show is cancelled. TNT made a HUGE mistake.
Character build up of Hardison and Spencer has to be some of the best in TV shows. Started as your usual nerd vs football player and finished as brothers basically.
I sleep to Leverage on UA-cam. Seeing Hardison & Parker fall in love, and Elliot connect to family, "Damn it Hardison!" What's Sophie's name? Forever disappointed by TNT. They killed a classic. 😢
Age of the Geek. "Geekin in the kitchen, makes you wanna dance" "I didn't miss nothin, I wasn't looking for it. Don't you have some chauffeuring to do?" Promise me you'll keep them safe. 'Til my dying day.'
This and the Star Wars animated shows are the only ones I ever binge watch. This was a magnificent finale. The scene when they lose Parker, Hardison, and Elliott still gets me. When I saw this finale first run I couldn't believe that they were killing off some of the team . Still my favorite show, and what Devlin and team have done with Redemption is equally fantastic and as good as the original. Thanks for posting
Connor Lonergan Actually, Parker, like the rest of the characters, was already world famous as the best at what she did long before they came together. You don't get that reputation unless you know what you're doing. Plus, in the first 6 minutes of the last episode, The Long Goodbye Job, Nate explained to her why he chose her out of all of them to be in on the planning of jobs with him. The viewers didn't know it at the time, but Nate was grooming her to take his place.
REBOOT.REBOOT.REBOOT! they are doing several shows so why not LEVERAGE when the show was cancelled it still had a big following we need to come together as diehard fans of the show and blow TNT servers up and steal back a season 6 so let's get started!
they ARE! they’re doing a revival on IMDB TV sometime this year! as their first original programming. Parker, Sophie, Hardison, and Eliot are all coming back! only sincle aldis hodge is also on another show right now he’s only a recurring cast member not a main cast which suckkkks. nates not in it. possibly bc of the insane sexual assault allegations against tim hutton.crrrazy. and Noah Wyle is joining as a new member. not sure if it’ll be the same deal where they have clients and such, they’re making it sound like they’re going after past misdeeds or making up for them or something i have no clue. but 13 episodes!! even if it sucks i don’t care, we get to see the gang together again!! (mostly....)
Excited for the new series but I was hoping to the "Leverage International" spin off. Excited for everyone coming back but would have liked to see a new crew too. Maybe the 13 episodes are just to start off but since most everyone is on second series, they will do a new crew for a potential second season.
U r the best :)) my heart goes out to u....thank u for being the best ever actor.....and doing such extraordinary job on a going to b a classic show..when the boxed set comes out ....i will think of u ....and smile everytime i watch u.... thank u:)) for being u
Personally my favorite part in the long goodbye job is when James Is talking to nate and says "No active cases, You bastard you would get them killed for that" because to me that says he does respect/Actually like the team to be concerned for them also just the little bit of anger he shows is just ahh man I love this show.
Sterling plays the hard ass interpol agent but, like a certain fox interpol agent I can think of, he's the secret 6th member of the Leverage team that will act like he's going to arrest them but will always let them go in the end (yes I did compare Jim Sterling to Carmelita Fox from Sly Cooper, and I am not ashamed of it)
@@jled787 Actually he got his position at Interpol when he recovered the stolen faberge egg in the Ukraine. Apart from when Nate turned himself in at the end of season 2, Sterling always let the team get away and even hired them to assist in a high profile case to keep nuclear material out the hands of terrorists (and to provide the distraction so Sterling to get his daughter away from her step father who was selling the nuclear material to the terrorists)
@@jled787 While I've only watched the entirety of season one (DVD) every time Sterling appeared it was always to serve himself, because he became prominent in IYS because of Nate's running the Leverage team and joined Interpol because they inadvertently helped him get the fabrege egg and only really let them go in Long Good Bye Job because he knew what they were doing
Coz S6 is currently being filmed and edited. They started in 2020. Its a shame that Tim Hutton currently isn't part of the cast due to him fighting a r*pe charge. So instead they got Noah Wyle, whom Chris Kane had worked with in The Librarians TV Series.
What really gives, what's extemely wrong in that scenario is that there is just no way Parker will die from a gunshot to her shoulder. She's Parker. Parker.
Just a little disappointed that they didn't show Nate and Sophie exiting through the doors. That said they were really gone---and the music was heartfelt.
i quit no tnt for me if i see law an order ad i might kick my the set n cancelling leverage was the last straw i only watch tbs for nba games they r really silly@ those station

Right! I was crying so hardddddddd!!!!
If it makes you feel better, Nate was describing how they died holding hands to the interrogator. Just picture him hammering it home to her

Oops, that was supposed to say "Also THE standing in a circle"
Also Sophie's theater scene that she nailed is the same one that she was terrible at when they first met her.
additionally scenes with nate just orchestrating the heist in front of a projection of the building plans
"he's al broken up inside" just makes me cry so so so so much I love Parker and Hardison

A solid series ended well in one of the best series finales ever. I just saw Ep.77 again and it's still awesome.

The actress that played Sophie wrote on Twitter that her real name is Laura or Lara or something like that

am I tthe only one who fell in love with Cristian Kane?
No
I first seen Christian cane on angel. That was the first time I heard him sing.
I feel like with Parker in charge we should all run

The writers tricked me!!!! Had me crying! I was pissedddd!
Best heist they ever pull in the series

Yes yes yes
theres a kdrama version now and its REALLY good.

@@cherishiskisa wait what, gonna have to check that out
So basically Let’s go steal a prime time drama? 🤣😏
Bravo!!!! I knew what was coming...got teary eyed again. Thanks for sharing.
I bawled when Nate got down on one knee!!!!! SQUEEEEEEEEEE!!

Half of the cast has another show so we will be getting old cast members returning along with new members
Age of the Geek brother....
Sophie asking Eliot to look over his younger siblings aka her youngest babies❤️❤️❤️❤️😍😍😍10:50 to10:59
No they didn't end up in jail. They kept running Leverage until they retired
U r the best :)) my heart goes out to u....thank u for being the best ever actor.....and doing such extraordinary job on a going to b a classic show..when the boxed set comes out ....i will think of u ....and smile everytime i watch u.... thank u:)) for being u
Aldis is sooo handsome
Am I the only one that freaked out when they saw the beggining of this episode? x.x
FF 7 years later. ......Leverage 2.0 is in the works, Yes!!!!
“We keep each other’s secrets sometimes” *looks at Parker then Sophie*
Leverage International isn't an understatement. They have teams in the UK, Italy, the Middle East, Vietnam, Korea, China and Japan.
the death parts were sad but funny
all of a sudden the cops actually know wtf they were doing
smh
I needed this today well done

I cried watching this episode 😩😭😭
I almost cried because I thought they died. Then I was like "oh you son of a bitch"
I cried bro the brotherhood is real
So apparently I was so lost on what days and at what time this show was on that I had no idea the show ended last year.
A series I wish could have gone on a few more seasons
IK I want them renewed ASAP. It seems like all tv networks get rid of good shows for nothing -.-"
Is2g 2012 Christmas Eve episodes from different shows were pure heartbreak
Bring leverage back!!!!!
Why are all the Leverage Tv Series episodes deleted??

its so bitter sweet I hate endings!!
Parker being in the chair like that, I bet they have a wheel of names where they spin to see whose turn it is.
I was so hoping for a spin off
TNT made a mistake another network should pick them up they won a Pca and then got canceled why
Just a little disappointed that they didn't show Nate and Sophie exiting through the doors. That said they were really gone---and the music was heartfelt.
two words... F*ck yeah!!!
They gotta do a reboot with parker in charge
WILLOW JENKS?!
i though i could keep my emotions in check while watching this but watching this after your dog was hurt by a car is not a good idea
Parker took over and 2 weeks later they were all in jail.
why did hardison turn around, they dating right he probably seen her naked. also I wish it had more parker/hardison moments.
#imissleverage
Gotta focus on the job
i quit no tnt for me if i see law an order ad i might kick my the set n cancelling leverage was the last straw i only watch tbs for nba games they r really silly@ those station
No wonder they cancelled this show, they were getting too close to the truth of things... Just saying!!
You all think you catch me in put me in jail nop have fun going to jail from X
