Hi Ana. I hope you can see my message. I used this Calendar reading and what i got for the future was Jack of hearts, jack of diamonds, jack of spade and two of hearts in that order. What does that mean? Please help me understand it. Thank you very much! ❤ Have a wonderful day!
Hi Canda. Thanks for your question. Do you have the Playing Card Oracles Book? I'm not doing personal readings right now but join the group Discord and you can post and discuss your readings there.
Love this! I never delved into it in your book and deck when I purchased it years ago... Now getting back into your magnificent writing! Thank you. One question re this spread. How does it work with regards to an actual question? In your book you say that if you know a period of time, then no need for the Cat Card. But how would a question look when using the Cat Card? Is it always a timing question? And would it be something like "when will X happen?" or "How long until..." or "what will happen between now and X?"
Hi Ryan the Wizard! So sorry this reply is so late:-)) Great question. Really, the question can look like almost anything. I draw the Cat Spread (Calendar Spread) for almost every question, because I like to peek into the future as regards any subject. The only time I tend not to is if the person has an urgent question, and the present time would be the most relevant. But of course, even the cards off the top of the deck that represent the present, are using the same calendar feature. Trust your intuition, as to whether to cut in or not. Thanks again for your comment!
Dear Anna, Namaste. I am returning back to this video after quite a while with a query on using this 52 weeks approach by scaling the time frame. Would like to get your opinion on using this method with 52 days or 52 hours time frame. Have you considered using this method on 52 hours time frame or 52 months time frame? Even otherwise, any input on shifting the time frame would be received with gratitude. TQ for spreading this method.
Hi TQ, thanks so much for your question. First, I think any experimentation is a good thing. So you could try the 52 days or hours and just see if the deck seems to respond. As far as any other input with shifting the time frame, YES, there is another way I am working with right now, but it will be revealed in the upcoming book, being written. Thanks again so much for your comment.
Hello Ana thank u for this awesome lesson I have been using it and really love it. What about predictions that could be years away? Could u please help .
Hi Michelle. Thanks for your comment and question. Although there are ways a person could devise to work with predictions in coming years, I would not recommend it. In my opinion this kind of work can bind up a person's karma and affect important decision making in a not good way. Thank you for your question and so glad you are enjoying the Calendar Spread
Thanks for giving an example of a year spread. It would be easy for simple questions as well. I follow along with the moon calander which is the mean calander. I have a perpetual moon calander that utilizes the 28 day cycle and the gragoroan calander. So even if 3 cards were the in the last week you could tell them exactly the date on the gragorian calander. I believe the 28 day cycle is the right calander. It's even and follows along with the calander of the bible. I've been using playing cards for divination almost since my tarot journey began. My first reading ever was when I was 14 years old and was with playing cards. Of course it was forbidden in my house but it foretold I would be married to a bald man and he would be my benefactor because he was older than I was. Now I'm married and have been for 6 blissful years to a bald man who's 22 years older than me. I completly put the reading out of my mind until I started doing tarot readings. But you get so many more people interested in this form of reading than tarot because it's a mundane object. I would love to review your book and deck on my channel. I can't wait to get a set.
Awesome Tiffany. Thanks for your comments. Yes, aligning with the 28 day calendar will change your life. Please, I would be so honored if you did a review of one of the books and decks. The latest book and deck is The Doors of Somlipith. The first book and deck was The Playing Card Oracles. See what resonates with you.
@AnaCortez I put them both in my amazon cart. It's going to be a while before we can order them because we're financially strapped due to circumstances. But I'll post you when the video is out so you can see it. I'm going to do my best to detach from what I know of tarot because I do that with certain decks that aren't actually tarot decks even though their called that. Mostly because it's refreshing in the readings that you do get. So I like to treat systems differently.

Hi Sigrid. Thanks for your question and thanks for watching. This is a slightly complicated question. Yes and No. I believe events that are yet to happen years away do leave traces in the year at hand, since time is actually circular. Hi there, John. Thanks for your question. Depending on the situation I might use the 2 of Hearts as the signifier in a Lost Man Spread, or I might do a Puer and Puella side-by-side Geomantic Layout. Do you have the Playing Card Oracles book? It explains what these spreads are.... eBook is Free at the store now. Otherwise, typically I would most often just do a 4-card "Cat Spread." It works so well for any question:-)) Hope this helps and thanks again for commenting
When making the cut, I always find that the cut tends to be in roughly the same place - about the centre of the pack. It seems unlikely that I'd be able to just cut one card, for instance, which would mean that the reading would tend to never predict an event coming up within one week. Is there some way to get around this?
Awesome question. In working with lots of different people with this layout, my experience is people cut all over the place, but you're right, unlikely to cut one card down. I most always turn over the first 4 cards off the top of the deck, as well as the cards indicated by the cut, because I want to see the present time. Maybe 6 months from now is significant for you!
It's difficult to get out of the analytical mind and just pick. There is always a narrative which is assessing the choice being made and I can't stop that narrative.
I have done a calendar reading while in jail to see roughly when we will be getting released and it's a bit different than this. Love this one tho. Sorry for long post. I would love to run across the one from jail online sometime to see the actual meanings of the cards and layout. Curious...would you be able to happen to know or be able to point me in a good direction to find the layout and meanings to the one I learned in jail? We shuffle the deck while focusing on "When we will be released from jail" or something along those lines and lay out the cards from the top of deck, face up. 7 rows across (each day of week) and end at how many days in the month (30 for this month). Remove pairs of cards that are touching (diagonal, up/dow, side/side), re-align and move cards up when out of matches. Add more cards to total the # of days in month and repeat until no more matches. But never removing the Q of hearts and A of spades. Once no more pairs can be removed then remove the high cards (K, Q, J, A) but leaving the Q hearts and A spades. Re-align again and remove matches that are touching. Then finally after re-aligning again, remove all multiple cards leaving 1 card of different suits. Depending on what's left you add the cards up to see how long you could be in jail for. IE: 3 and 1 besides the Q and A we kept = 4, so 4 hours, 4 days, 4 weeks, ect. The person who showed it to us couldn't remember the exact reading. Some say it depends on where the cards are in correspondence with the Q and A to show time already served and time left. No one had a for sure answer on how to read the cards. Thanks for the help and many thanks for showing us this video. I will definitely be trying it out soon
Hi Mystic River. Thanks for writing! So glad you are able to view this video. I am not familiar with the method you are describing, laying out 7 rows, etc... I like to use the deck more simply, using the geometries already in the deck in a very straightforward way. The information received this way is very accurate. Thanks again and so glad you are working with the playing deck.
So this technique seems to be dependent on the conscious act of splitting the deck. Splitting the deck in equal halves will more or less equal half a year. It's rather predictable. Is there a way to do this unconsciously, so that when the deck is split, it's in a totally random spot? This method seems to open the probability of being very deliberate. I hope that made sense. I'm curious where you learned this technique. It's fascinating nonetheless.
Hi Marilyn. Learned this original technique from my father who was a medium and an occultist. Yes, when you're reading for yourself being more "deliberate" or "conscious" during the cut is a danger. But nonetheless the technique still works even if you "choose" a date more consciously! For myself, I like the cards to give me a date that is important, one that I do not choose, so for myself I sort of "check out" mentally during the cut and just watch my hands cut. Like watching my hands from a distance. This is my technique and works for me. May take some practice. or as mentioned, it's okay to consciously choose a date:-)) Hope this helps. Thanks for your comment and thanks for watching the video :-))
