I love this movie, because it shows that even if a human being gets caught up in the glitz and glamour of life, that unexpected diversity can make any person reassess the way they live, the way they act and the way they treat others. Annette is one of the best actresses ever and I don’t think she gets enough credit for being able to play any role and make it believable. She envelops herself in the character, something that’s very hard to do. You believe everything she says, everything she does and every movement she makes is from that character perspective. You don’t see Annette in any of it. Which is incredible. I didn’t know that Annette got pregnant and lost the role of Catwoman. Because she would’ve been incredible in that role. She just has that look of Julie Newmar, seductive, smart, and witty. Would’ve loved to see that. In any case, great movie, and I suggest that anybody who hasn’t seen it… Watches it. It is one of the best films, at least for me, of all time.
And then Annette got pregnant and Michelle Pfeiffer got the role of Catwoman.

When I saw Annette in the Grifters, in which I did not know anything about her, I said to myself that is Catwoman.

This is such a good movie! She was so great in Grifters! Her and Harrison Ford were great 👍
