okay, there is two things that will absolutely ruin a hair cutting asmr video for me. 1: that background white noise. and 2: when there is no real hair cutting sounds, its just the artist making scissor sounds around the mic. you however, did both of these as right as could be. there was little to no white noise, and not only were there hair cutting sounds, but you actually brought some hair into cameras view for a time. thats unbelievable! in a world of low budget and half assed hair cutting videos, this stands so high, amazing work! thank you for such a great video!
billshatcat yeah, i've learned that. I just got spoiled with some asmr artists that has some kind of set up like that and now that ive branched out and started watching other asmr asrtists ive realized, the white noise will forever haunt me
i liked the minimal talking. if i go to a hairdresser and he/she feels the need to incessantly chat and ask personal questions, i never go back. so this was perfect. and the sounds were great!

Thank you for the realistic scissors cutting hair noises. Most people just constantly open and close the scissors by the mic and it's also not usually a proper hair scissors. Fantastic video!
This is hands down my favorite. It's so realistic and relaxing. All the other ones I've seen, they're all so awkward with their talking. They use regular every day scissors and just do brush motions in front of the camera it's annoying. You definitely know what you're doing and you're so natural at it. I've watched a lot of ASMR videos, and this is the best ASMR video on youtube on haircut. You get the real full on effect of all the sounds that gives me that relaxing and soothing mood. ( soft voice (not super airy whispery) ruffling sounds, objects lightly being set down, clamps, water bottle spray + the spray's spring squeak, scissors, hair ruffling etc)

Great video, and great pacing most of all; your dialog (inflection, words, etc) sounds natural, and the spacing between dialog is appropriate, making it sound like i'm actually hearing one half of a conversation (something i find some other rpers overlook or have trouble with). You might have answered this before, but if you don't mind me asking, have you ever taken an acting class or done acting on a scholastic or professional level? If not i'd definitely consider it

I haven't heard about amsr untill now and i had no idea i actually like this. I have mysophonia and i'm usually annoyed by some particular sounds but the sounds of hair being cut relaxes me alot. I've looked on youtube for other amsr haircut sounds videos but none compare to yours. It makes me fall asleep and also makes me wanna get a haircut asap :))
