As I was looking at you getting ready to take off on your f3, I see you was trying to figure out how to take off😂 remind me of me when I sold my ryker and I went to get my f3 not having no idea how to take off or how to operate the buttons on my f3, but the guy explain to me how to work it. I have to say it’s a different ride from the ryker. Please understand I truly had fun on my ryker, but now I realize what that grown folks bike is like😂🤣. I was thinking about selling my bike but now I’m thinking about keeping unless someone come along with the right amount to buy. I was hoping some one come along by time the WHAP came along and buy it. By the time the spring hit, I probaly go up on the price but until I might just keep it becuz I have put a lot into the bike. Good thing to know when you ride out with the fellows with Rykers, you will go faster and want have to stop sooner for gas like the Rykers😂

You right but the Spyder didn't fit on the trailer😁 I had to strap the gate up to make it home cause I didn't want to ride in the cold rain. I got a 6x8 trailer and it's too long maybe by 1 foot

I got the base model it was 17,999 the S was 20,999 it might have been better to get the S cause it has cruise control. But it wasn't all black like the one I got

Welcome to the dark side haha..I notice u have the base model f3 cause u dont have fog lights that's cool those are covers that u can remove and add fog lights there..once u get use to starting it a few times and shifting u wont forget cause I saw u trying to go in neutral 😂😂...but when u ride outta town u should be way more comfortable
Can you tell us about the trade-in value for your Ryker? I know we’re going to lose on the accessories and modifications. Just wanted a ballpark figure for the trade-in. Thanks and congrats
If you take your Ryker in to trade it in take all your accessories off. In my case I took it up there with everything on it (back seat with the back rest, windshield, shad bag, speakers, lights,plus I got the wheels etc. Powder coated) so they offered $8,000 which I thought was low but I expected it to be low on a trade in. When I went back I took off the speakers, lights, and shad bag. They had a fit 🤣🤣🤣 so they came back again and said 7,200 and said they have to service my bike, which was true. Also get panel to replace where I drilled holes for my speakers. My Ryker has 5,000 miles on it too
It's definitely a different ride. For me it's the size of it and I don't feel like I will get blown off the road like I did on my Ryker. It heavier and the ride is better in my opinion for that alone
I’m wondering if you know anything about the Rider’s Insurance I went to look at a Rally today and was told because it is a school model with 12 miles on it that it does not come with the BRP warranty for 1 year. Instead, they want you to purchase a 1200 warranty through Riders and said they are better than BRP cause they insure aftermarket pieces. Any thoughts?
Maybe you should check with another dealership because Can Am bikes normally come with 3 yr warranty...and I haven't heard of any insurance covering after market parts on bikes. I would get that in writing. I suggest you check with another dealership
Mandatory run the Voodoo Exhaust , 20” ATC Infidel wheels with All Chrome 360 Fat tire kit . Ditch the saddlebags . Only way to run that , promise you.
HaHa, when I first traded my Ryker for an RT it took me a bit to remember to shift too. As much as I loved my Ryker, it was getting to be a little hard on my 70 year old body. :)
@@DerrickCrowleyTV Absolutely, even with the stock seat. Best I could do on the Ryker was an hour and a half. maybe two hours before I was saddle sore. So far haven't found that point on the RT. I have a 1,000 miles ride planned for July. Actually 2,000 when you consider round trip. Looking forward to that challenge.
@Greg Kamer I went 500 miles on a Ryker from Memphis to Dallas with no problems but then again imma truck driver too😎 I'm use to it. I'm riding 600 miles to Houston on the Spyder I'll let you know how it go
@@DerrickCrowleyTV Sounds good. My first long ride is scheduled for the 11-15th of July when I'll be heading to Deadwood South Dakota from Washington (the state not the swamp) to attend the 3Wheel Rally event there.
I just missed the Miami weekend rides at the 1st of this month. The 305 Ryker Ryderz is on Facebook and Instagram and they ride all the time. Reach out to them and they will definitely let you know when they ride..they got plenty pics and videos of that weekend.

@bullsback23 it's more sturdy in my opinion cause it is bigger than a ryker, but I didn't have a issue with the suspension on my Ryker. I know people change the sway bar and the end links buy I never did that because I didn't have an issue with it
@DerrickCrowleyTV I agree and understand that, I'm picking up my Spyder tomorrow and besides the passenger backrest I'm not sure what is necessary to do next until next season. That windshield is expensive lol and backrest for me gotta be $1000 after the $700 I just spent.
They didn't have one put together, they say they had some still in the crates. No other dealership in my area had any at all. They only had this one on the showroom floor so i figured it was good enough

How's the difference in the ride? Is the spyder smoother or about the same? Is it worth the additional cost? It looks nice.
