Btw, the Too Slow Death Sound, Confronting Yourself Bad Ending Death Sound, and Level Select Sound comes from/based on the remake called "Sonic.exe 2011 Remake". Instead of the iconic death scream, the characters there will be heard dying in a painful way (except for Eggman as he currently doesnt have any Death Sound).
This song-ending message is for everyone, so for the endings in confronting yourself final zone, there’s 2 versions. Old version : even if you full combo or miss, you will still get the same new ending, sonic’s friends died, and sonic managed to escape sonic.exe by going to the ring portal. New version : There’s 3 endings depending on how many misses you have, if you full combo, you get the BEST ending where sonic.exe failed to kill sonic’s friends, and got defeated by Dr. Eggman. If you get 1-19 misses, you get the CANON ending where sonic’s friends died by sonic.exe except sonic, which sonic has now to go into his SUPER SONIC form to end sonic.exe. If you get 20 misses or MORE (limit : 99.), you get the WORST ending, where sonic.exe succeeded to kill EVERYONE ! After the game over popup, you get a jumpscare and your game crashes…
