I also have the Aurora and it is a fantastic knife, I also have the Fox River which is a awesome camp/ hunting knife but my favorite of all is the gunny scandi, it has lived up to all my expectations in every way, it does everything I want and need it to do and more. I have a large knife collection of over 150 knives but my Bark River knives will be with me in the field every time
Very nice review - thanks. ... BTW: there's a BRK Bushcrafter II in 3V in preorder status. ... The Bark River Mini Aurora, high convex grind 3V is a winner. ... The more I use my LT Wright GNS saber ground 3V, the more I like it too. ... Many, many ways to skin a cat! ... ... Please keep your great videos coming. We love them!
I have moved away from CPM 3V steel just because it’s such a pain to resharpen especially in the field. This is just one of many reasons why the Chris Reeve Pacific knife with S35VN steel has become my go to knife.
Good job, excellent explanation. Ah yes! Beautiful knives! I love these knives with a Coca-Cola bottle handle. The ones I liked the most were the last two! Good job and great video! Until later! Peace and good!
Love the vid! As usual. I have to agree with you on your choices. I own 3 of the 4 blades you have. Couldn't get the lt wright,so I had to settle on his holy bushman. Pretty much same knife just different handle. What people have to realize is you have to use the knife for what its designed for. The aurora may have a thin tip so dont beat on it with a stick or pry with it. I don't know who started this batoning with your knife, but really do get tired of watching vids of people beating on their knife for 20 minutes. Use an axe, hatchet, or saw if you need to break down wood for fire. I think ol Kephart is rolling in his grave watching what people do with their knives today! Anyway, keep up the good work!
That is awesome! Yeah the Holy Bushman is a solid choice! I agree, and that's why I haven't pried on the Aurora tip but it is knife to have knives that are not fragile.
The Lagom can be tricky but it is made in batches. As to the others, I can understand that price they are difficult to get as well this is why I am reworking this video.
@@AlaskanFrontier1 Yes. Indeed I could ask them. Being from Europe we have to pay taxes to get it shipped over here, but it might help Americans too that are in a really wet climate.
Also, there is one thing that I have noticed, there is not very much of a difference between the bushcrafter and the gunny scandi, there are minor differences of course but not so much that you will notice at first glance
I thought of it, but I wanted to make this video about some upper end options that I feel could be resting points in a bushcraft knife collection. Though, by no means is the Garberg a bad knife. Truly can compete with the best of them
what about if bark river user lives in country where you cant send it on maintenance, for example in my case Georgia, we dont haveservice to sent stuff from here to any other country its very complicated, in this case, for me bark river guarantee is useless right?
I like your content it's very interesting and always got some good Infos. Also your voice is nice lol. One piece of criticism I can offer is to switch up the angles more and maybe a few more cuts because when I clicked on the video I really wanted to see the knifes, the sheets get boring to look at
I ordered my bushcrafter lt from knives ship free two weeks ago. Usps has been seriously slowed down by covid. Cant wait to get my hands on it. I want an aurora only because i have the liton bror (hope i spelled that right) and it is a great knife. It is an aurora that is almost exactly the same blade length and handle length as the bushcrafter. I love that knife. Great video. I really didn't expect you to throw the aurora in as much trouble as you had with the tip, but you did.😊
Why do you say the BR knife has a weak tip? Yours is intact. Have you had one snap? I have a few BR knives and never had an issue with the tip and I beet them up when i use them.
"Build your own knife" ❗️The very best of luck achieving that ❗️😳 I find it more reliable to very simply buy one. After all, after you've bought all the equipment to make one, and then taken the time to make one, you may have well as bought one. After all, the best bushcraft knife is the one you have at the time. Only my opinion 🔪🌲
Yes I did say that, about the community, that being said, I run a UA-cam channel so I try to continue to provide content for viewers which does mean I need to acquire knives to review, test, and provide feedback for those interested.
This would be better titled “My favorite bushcraft knives in 2021”. Under the current title I would recommend only including knives that are still made and available in 2021.
The LT Wright. Lagom is great but that Bark River Bushcrafter is to die for. If you're only allowed one knife--that's the one. And what a nice sheath!

Thats awesome! and WOW
the 1st lt gets my vote the shorter blade scandi grind round broomstick kind of handle love it.
It is a solid choice. The Lagom is hard to beat... When you can find it!
They now make a LT version with .125 thick 3V steel. Thinking about that version over original thickness.
I personally like the OG thickness, but it is thick.
Complimenti,i migliori coltelli bushcraft.👍👍👍
Thank you!

AWESOME!!!! I love to hear feedback like this! I will definitely keep 'em coming.
Have you taken a look at Joker knives? I have really been impressed by the Joker Ember.
I am aware of Joker but have yet to pick one up yet.
Le couteau Bushcraft Bark River est pour moi le meilleur compromis.
You should take that intro and repeat for hours and upload... I can setup that video on my tv UA-cam and fall asleep...beautiful!
I think I will for Christmas! Thanks for letting me know.
This is the first time that I have watched a “top #” knife list that I owned them all!! Great list. God bless. John
That must be a sign hahaha. Good tastes
Awesome thank you.....got an orange lagom also
You're welcome. I love the Lagom!
Bark river is making the bushcrafter 1 everyday but I agree 3v is the way to go just don’t let it get dull
Yep!!

Where do you buy bark river knives? I check the website and DLT trading and they are always sold out.
I use DLT Trading or KnivesShipFree
You would like the Brisa Trapper 95 scandi. Fine knive from Finland 🇫🇮 amazing quality and price.
I probably would
Any chance of a list of the knives and names, type of steel etc. in the order shown, please? Thanks. And thanks for the video.
I'll try
Bark River Knives Bushcraft (CPM3V)
LT Wright Lagom (O1 Tool Steel)
Battle Horse Knives Battlelore (O1 Tool Steel)
Bark River Knives Aurora (A2 Tool Steel)
Can't find the legome; bark river 260 to 290; 3rd one battle horse? 200 base 235 with extras.
The Lagom can be tricky but it is made in batches. As to the others, I can understand that price they are difficult to get as well this is why I am reworking this video.
Vorrei sapere la marca di questi quattro coltelli e dove si possono acquistare. Grazie
Very nice collection there. Thanks for sharing 😁
Thanks for watching! I certainly cant complain
For me it would be the Lagom but in an affordable stainless steel and some kydex or plastic sheath. I'm just around water and rainy climates too much.
Well you might just ask LT to make something like that. They may be open to doing that.
@@AlaskanFrontier1 Yes. Indeed I could ask them. Being from Europe we have to pay taxes to get it shipped over here, but it might help Americans too that are in a really wet climate.
Can you out the Names of the Knives somewhere????
Its very hard to hear out the pronounciation of the brands.

I got the benchmade made bushcraft, BR gunny and the lt wright patriot!
Nice!
I'm surprised you didn't add the Garberg...I find it my best all-rounder. Good video and truthfully...this is your top 5 not mine 😉

I really like the Battlelore
Its fantastic
Can you write the name of those knives??
LT Wright Lagom
BHK Battlelore
BRK Bushcrafter
BRK Aurora
Great video, you've got some fine blades!!!
Wow thanks for watching you make some awesome videos! Thank you, I love these knives and really they are hard to beat.
Nice bunch of knives!
Can't complain with this selection.
Do a review on the best cheap bushcraft OMG knofe
Yeahhhhh
Knives plz
You’re not going to snap the tip off of a 3V or Cru-Wear blade.
Nope
I bent it on cry wear, but maybe I wasn't carefull enough

A quest: what is the “orange handle” knife? The first... my english is bed, help me please
It is the LT Wright Lagom

Nice if you had links and price
Very good channel!
Glad you enjoy it!
THX for yours vidéos !!! Try Tops BLACK-RHINO with convex is ultimate knife for bushcraft/survive ULTIMATE !!!!!🗡
I thought you didn’t like bark river that much anymore.
I dare you to try and damage the tip of the bark river's original aurora in 3v steel! (Won't happen)
I broke the tip on mine within 3 weeks of getting it. I was trying to make a bow drill divot in willow.
Thank you, well done....ATB

Yes I have had one snap on me in the past.
I love the Lagom Bush Knife... Mors Kochanski actually had the same exact one you have with the orange handle. Thanks for the video
Yes that is why I got this knife in particular
It's nearly a perfect design and blade shape..

Interesting
still using my old Condor bushlore, might be time for an upgrade, the grind is a little clunky and seems average for carving
Wow, yeah that is not one of my favorites. They are chunky and never fit me well.
I have a bushlore must be 10 years old by now, still comfortable and functional.
Woodlore pro is my number one choice for Buschcraft
That one is awesome too!
That voice tho lol 😂
