One problem is just that plastic wheel. It doesn't take much twisting, so you must be careful when setting the height. In addition, the lamp unit is weighed down by the wires and other junk in the cavity.
i have the same problem. the light controller seems not to respond when i turn it. I will be taking the bike in for a service soon and will point it out.
Hallo. Hast du die Norden 901 noch? Wenn ja. Wieviele km mittlerweile? Wie wäre es mit einem Video. Ich sehe hier sehr viele Videos die Probleme an der Nockenwelle aufweisen! Macht mir echte sorgen, da ich mir dieses Jahr auch eine Norden 901 gekauft habe.
Mine had so much friction (no grease at all) that it was hard to say if it is at a mechanical stop or just hard to turn. Do it ONCE wrong and the teeth of the plastic gear are gone. Now with some grease the new one turns smoothly. I preferred now repairing it myself, instead of taking the bike to a workshop for a warranty repair (transporting myself home and back also takes time and money).

Thanks, very helpful video 😊
Honestly I am shocked, that this part broke already. You would think this piece should last forever.
