I don't really watch the lions games, so I've never seen him play really. But after watching this video, he really stood out! I need to see more of him. I'd take him over Roos. Hopefully Roos proves me wrong this weekend though. He's very different to Hanekom. More skilled and quicker where Hanekom is more athletic and physical maybe.
Next season I'm predicting all 4 SA teams through to the URC quarter finals. Lions have improved tremendously this season and in the latter half of the season the Sharks were finally starting to play as expected.
At the moment I'd agree he should have got the call up. Thing is, Roos has improved quite a lot this season so I'm guessing Rassie wants to give him his chance. I imagine Horne will still make an appearance in this cycle in the build up to the world cup. He has a lot of talent ahead of him, unfortunately.
@@greenplasticgunsure, Roos brings more physicality (that's about it) but Francke is much better all round. Horn makes better decisions and actually plays the situation. Roos needs catching up. Rassie likes to play physical, that's why I believe Horn is left out, at least one of the reasons.
@@ericsmith1496 neither of them have the defense, carrying or turnover ability abilities that Hanekom is showing at the moment though. Only thing I’m not sure about with him is his high ball competing like Duane used to be so good at
Which team do you want to see tries of the season from next?
Giving the lions a red is like activating their trap card
Linesman puts in some real speed at 10:31 !!!!
Definitely the most entertaining tries for sure!
The pride of Johannesburg for Real.
Franke Horne needs Bok call up...
feite
He really plays good rugby
no he doesnt. sorry but theres no way hes better then Elrich louw . evan roos or cobus wiese.

SA franchises are exciting to watch
They certainly do play an attractive brand of rugby
4:52 Mapimpi is gonna bring up this step at the next bok camp meetup...😂
They just need better top management
WHY IS FRANCKE HORNE NOT PLAYING FOR SPRINGBOKS ???
90% of these tries happen whilst Lions have a red card 😂
World rugby is nothing without southern hemisphere...
Well, yes - otherwise it would be Northern Hemisphere Rugby
@@shawnie5001 Hahahaha even as a SAFFA, I was thinking exactly the same 🤣🤣🤣
Love it!!! my Boys, shout out to Alberton, Krugersdorp, Northcliff, Jeppe, REDS!!!
that hop step @4:26 was just naughty, cooked him.
Beautiful stuff 👌🏾
How is it even possible that Francke Horn is not in the Springbok squad?
That 8 is playing nice rugby

unpopular opinion - Francke Horne is way better than Evan Roos.

Well done young Lions - you have shown rugby has all the excitement when a team learns that tries that wins games. Good luck for 2025
I'm sure they're gonna be a team to contend with next season
É o time que mais gosto de assistir. É uma pena que não tenha se classificado para os Play-offs e para a Champions
What a team❤️
A strange and incomprehensible sport
Lions utility forwards are deadly!!
Lions!! 🦁 🔥
It's like they let loose when they get a red card.
The Lions have some special players, they really do. I dream of a packed Ellis Park at the URC final, Lions taking the trophy. One day 😅
When the Lions get a red card, they change into a higher gear.
😍😍😍😍
Great entertainment for sure but you have to win games to show progression rather than playing for fun....
Lions did improve alot from where they were what are you watching if you can't see improvement?
