Where as Jack is to proud to admit something is raw when it's bleeding, Kay is a charming lady with a lot of pep and joy. She isn't the best cook, but she tries, and she tries for her family. Kay, if for some reason you ever see this, keep cooking and practicing. You can improve. One day you'll cook something great, just don't give up.
I made some meatballs that were the dogs bollocks. To speed up cooking my onions for the sauce, before frying them I put some water in the pot with a couple of whole garlic cloves. When the water was evaporated I took out the softened cloves, peeled and made them into a paste that went into my pork and beef meatballs along with other seasoning. Some of the best meatballs ever.
It looks like brains I cant unsee it 🤯 What I would tell Kay is there are MANY amazing cooking videos on UA-cam that can show anyone how to cook. This is so painful to watch.
I wish Kay would get herself a cookbook - one made for kids would be a good start. I think she could learn if she actually followed a recipe. But I have to say that I really enjoyed and felt your f$&! at the 2 minute mark. 😂

My late Mother was an horrendous cook at the best of times - we knew dinner was ready when we could smell the burning - but she could make the most divine meatballs on the planet!! ❤
I believe that two things are true: - Kay cannot cook - Kay appears to be a very sweet lady that tries her best, and this is why people watch her cook.
Only time i dont spice meatballs is when i have venison meatballs since venisomln taste good but if you got any suggestion for good home made meatballs that is simple to make id love suggestion. I love meatballs with my pasta
Meatballs covers everything from the kind we do here in Sweden to the Italian polpette. Yes, she is sweet and fun, but first of all - and from a Swedish point of view - the minced meat should be 50 % beef and 50 % pork. Next thing I wonder is where the onion has gone. Using raw onion or fried is up to you (I have recently seen a video where half was fried and the remaining half was raw for they taste different. The minced meat should be blended with the onion and I would add breadcrumbs to make it firmer. Yes to salt and pepper! Other spices to your taste. A dash of soy will make them browner and enhance the flavour, but it is not necessary. Another thing that isn't necessary is adding a little cream to the mix. There are as many recepies for meatballs as there are housewifes in Sweden, but the minced meat should, after blending, be firm enough to stay in shape and round enough to be fried in a frying pan - not in the oven! Finally: No, I would not eat this!
What I love most about Kay's Cooking is that even though all these creators are reacting to her videos, basically shitting on her food, she still keeps coming back smiling in another video. She's either blissfully unaware, or doesn't let it get her down.

Put the minced meat, spices (+mustard) and soaked bread into a bowl, mix em and then use a pan... It hurts my soul to see this.
Its such an amazing yet simple dish. I hope she improves
This has got to be one of my favourite reaction videos of yours 😂.
Really? Have you seen the last Jamie one?
Awesome job James. Loved the video.
Thank you!
Wait! Chef! Calm down! 😂😂😂
Wow! You're never like that in your vids man. You're always reserved and patient. 🤣🤣🤣
Seriously, awesome video. At one point I thought about reaching out to her to cook together too. She's very sweet and I wanted to show her a few tricks. I hope she responds to you, you're a sweet guy. We love you Chef James! 😊❤
Thank you!!
Thumbs up for telling people not to diss her or diss her here, respect.
Oh James, I love it when your composure slips 😂
🤣
As always, chef, thanks for the content~! :)
You are welcome!
On the plus side the chips looked quite nice, although they were probably cold by the time the lumps of bland dry minced beef were finished with.
Some of the best meatballs ever.
gordon ramsay would say " thats not meat balls. that dog vomit"
I'd love to see a colab with you and Kay!!!!
She definitely knows. lol. There's just no WAY she isn't fully aware. 😂
It looks like brains I cant unsee it 🤯 What I would tell Kay is there are MANY amazing cooking videos on UA-cam that can show anyone how to cook. This is so painful to watch.
And the plastic from the mince is touching the pot xD good way for toxic fumes lol
That would be darling if you went to Kay's house to cook! I hope she sees this video, she seems like a very merry lady!
12:15
Correct.
Cooking is as hard as you make it.
And you need to eat to live.
Cooking was easy after a while when i had to do everything.
I wish Kay would get herself a cookbook - one made for kids would be a good start. I think she could learn if she actually followed a recipe.
But I have to say that I really enjoyed and felt your f$&! at the 2 minute mark. 😂
James throwing f-bomb took me off guard 😅
😂
Her kitchen couldn't take it anymore and was like "I need a break"
I like Kay because it always feels like her effort and enthusiasm is genuine, even if the waay she cooks isn't always what you'd wanna eat. Genuinely a nice lady, I'm sure.
3:40 Yeah Kay broke her stove top once already...
I hate using electric stoves especially glass top ones.
Love Kay. She can't cook ...yet...but is willing to learn to try....plus, she's killing it on UA-cam. Great marketing. She has such joy when she tries. Wouldn't eat it ,but she's fun to watch. She can definitely learn some tricks and skills from you, James.
Kay is a treasure.
My late Mother was an horrendous cook at the best of times - we knew dinner was ready when we could smell the burning - but she could make the most divine meatballs on the planet!! ❤
I often think that Kay is just the biggest troll in England or wherever shes from.
I think that is so kind of you to offer to collaborate and guide her a bit.
agree
I believe that two things are true:
- Kay cannot cook
- Kay appears to be a very sweet lady that tries her best, and this is why people watch her cook.
We are enjoying more, when you react to UR reacting to this as he makes subtitles, when they speak, but we enjoy doing it with you.
I hope you scheduled that trip to the Caribbean after seeing this video.
Shouts to you, Chef James, for laying the ground rules about the lovely Kay from the beginning!
Thank you!
Oh boy can’t wait for this one 😂
I think she's a master comedian, laughing all the way to bank!
I immediately started dying when you started swearing xD
😂
What I love most about Kay's Cooking is that even though all these creators are reacting to her videos, basically shitting on her food, she still keeps coming back smiling in another video. She's either blissfully unaware, or doesn't let it get her down.
Kay’s actually quite haughty and humorless about critiques from others, and she views reactors like James as “haters.” Pretty incredulous but true.
0:20 oh no! I am absolutely having lunch while watching this
Today I learned that some people call ground beef "minced meat".
Minced meat is very different from ground beef where I live.
What did I just witness? I am speechless!
Hey James, can i send you a request? I would like to see you doing some german recipes. Like a "rheinischer Sauerbraten" or Sausages in Beersauce with Sauerkraut or something like that. Or a "Schweinsbraten with Semmelknödel". Would love that. Greetings from Germany from a fan and college.
Great suggestion!
@@ChefJamesMakinson Thanks. Cause i think its mostly about asian and Mediterraneann dishes and cuisine but german culture has something to offer!
@@timbaud5704 As an Austrian I neither want to taste, nor want to see a recipe of, a GERMAN Schweinsbraten!
No hate! But seriously, people who put sauce on Wiener Schnitzel and whos only culinary achievement is Currywurst have no place in international cuisine.
James was just so savage in this reaction video, which I enjoyed. 😅😂
Also know whose food i definitely would prefer to have.
The famous white electrical box on the wall.
Imagine if it could talk..... 😂
7:02 - 7:03 Kay’s Son Lee Gasp so Dramatic! 😂😂😂😂
7:01 At least Cooking with Kay told us the truth! She definitely cracked her glass top!
yep!
Dear Lord, 2 minutes into the vid and I'm already sick.
Hahaha 🤣
Agree, I honestly have to keep looking away 😂
Poor Kay, she really tries bless her heart
