  • Arne Koets and Bill Reynolds break a couple of lances in a training session held by Jeffrey Hedgecock, in Ramona CA, USA.
Arne was in town from Leeds, England for an armour fitting for the harness Jeff is making him. He's wearing Jeff's old armour for this session, and tries out the new medieval saddle that Jeff is working on. This is Bill's first breaking lance passes. Both use lances available from Historic Enterprises.

Thanks!! His name is Petrus, but we call him "Petey".
He is a good boy. He's 10 now and I've had him since he was 4. He plays polo too, though not too nimbly.

SInce Arne is a countyborn Dutchman like me, I thought he would understnd.. but well, here is the translation: Well Arne, at this, I see your opponent now is better protected than the unprotected one you bashed at the Den Bosch event some 6/7 years ago (he will know he participated with the reenactment group Gelres Overkwartier then of which I was a member) with your harnessed glove, don't you know...I am an ex-LHO member (group he was in then) and a semi-namesake of him...
