As a child of the 60s and car mad, I was always in awe of features like this at the cinema or on the goggle box. Usually, they only appeared on broadcast television when some live sporting event had been curtailed for some reason. Frankly, I didn’t care, this stuff was better than show jumping, wrestling, egg jumping or farting into a wet paper bag effete shenanigans etc, which is what it replaced. Bravo, it was all obviously cynical advertising, marketing and promotion but to an 8 year old I didn’t give a monkey’s testicular, I loved it then and I love it now at 71 years of age. This all despite most of the presentation being actually rather naff, working class oils like me were in thrall of the plummy, stuck up, Presumably Upper Class Twerps that spoke the lines in presentations like these! Oh, how times have changed!
Castrol sponsorship made me a customer for life (I'm 72)!
What a nice time for Motorsports, thx for Upload.
Groovy baby ! And an open Catholic Mass on Sunday !🙏
Yes. I love seeing the Mass at Le Mans, too. Makes my Catholic heart sing.
Like the soundtrack. Love the cars.
