I think people got jaded by the multiverse saga price tag, which is understandable. Human Torch was the man at one point so them buffing his damage to keep him up with the times makes sense and we should have expected him to be good
My theory is that Doom and Victorious are going to get the summer uniforms, and that's separate from the FF uniform collection so they just released the collection with this update. :)
I hope not. I need Doom to get a comic themed uniform not a summer themed one.
@@littlebigbunnyrabbit9520 Just reading the tea leaves. It could be comics universe unis, but I noticed that non-themed unis like Echo's and Quicksilver/Scarlet Witch from the last couple updates aren't a part of the the Uniform Collection screen.
So that makes me think if DD and Victorious are included for the next mid month, it /could/ be off-theme, and the one that is looming is the summer themed outfits.

Exact same thing almost that happened for his last uni. Everyone thought it was mostly a copy and paste based on the patch notes. Then he was way stronger than anticipated in game. I assumed this would be the same. Too similar to last time.

Doom as a mid-month makes no sense if you consider Otherworld Battle Restrictions. Current restrictions buff Mutant, villain with leadership. Doom doesn't factor into those Restrictions, and those will change on 27th of July. Id doesn't make sense for them to be designed for Deadpool update, to overlap with it only for 3 days (if it lands on 24th).
My bet is Apocalypse as mid-month, out of nowhere with the new uni grating him Leadership tag - he was high on Dec survey and he is native-T2.

I can clear stage 34 of Knull without pierece with a level 70 Human Torch (Brilliant Judgement and like 10 odins so its VERY VERY GOOD build)

@@misterme1134 idk how people do it. I had to have 4% pierce before I could beat him. But that was 1.5 years ago before my account was in beast mode like it is now so that could be a factor.

My theory is they are always putting characters where they were when they got released or tp or t3'ed and also when I saw his skill percentages I knew he was gonna be strong. They are shy at percentages when it comes to t4's but they went above and beyond for Johnny

Ebony Maw, Human Torch, Hela, Gladiator, and Quicksilver - all are recent arrivals. All are at the bottom of the list. Maybe they are planning to realise a new WB+?

His cards and swords are godly so there will always be a major difference. Also he uses Odin Blessings on many characters so that also pushes up the stats

I was expecting a rant, because this "update" sucks.
We got one surprise strong uniform and a bunch of nothing and maybes.
Human Torch is strong, cool....but for what? Definitely don't need a new GBR clearer.
Why did they T4 all of the F4 except for Thing? He has PVP support for the F4 and would've been useful to pair up with the other members.
They already had these 2 uniforms ready because they're in the Multiverse saga , so what are they even doing?
They were able to add more crystals to the Saga pack but couldn't include the crystal option as well? Again, what are they doing?
If they had added the crystal option at least that would have been SOMETHING to do.
So there's literally nothing to do.

Because sometimes the patch notes don't show how strong a character is. The patch note show you some numbers, but it doesn't tell you everything. You don't know how many hits every skill has, or if you can cancel those skills. Or how much attack the character is going to get from the T4...
Judging a character only from the patch notes is not a good idea

Guys i'm pretty new to the game, but i have a question. I JUST used my last on crystals on captain marvel for world boss and i will of course tier 3 her. I've got 4% pierce damage. Should i have bought human torch, like is he better?
Probably yeah the only reason why people use captain marvel is because she gets an extra 5 percent pierce in the avengers team up collection but unless you have your team up collection maxed then there are just better uniforms but she’s not bad especially for a starter character also human torch if I remember is a premium character which means you can’t get their biometrics normally for rank up and gears so unless you got money or you grind the first family epic quest I wouldn’t bother with him
You can buy tier two human torch for 1000 crystals in the shop meaning you won’t need biometrics but you’ll still need bios for his uniform upgrades

The X.X.X versioning you talk about doesn’t traditionally work that way, if they follow the normal versioning it’s Major.Minor.Patch, so 10 is the major update number, 1 the minor and the other 1 is the patch number

HT can be used on bs 10-19 and 35-39 thats more then 5 stages

The numbers corresponds to the number of restrictions the character is available for, not the numbers of stages.
So, Human Torch might or may not be useful still again. But a 20% of being useful do to availability in WBL . But a strong T4 character.
A bottom 20% character 😂. But technically better than Mr. Fantastic, Invisible Woman, Franklin, and Valeria. Even most definitely Thing.

Human TORCH Is Strong But Idk
I expected him to be strong. Commented frequently about it. I focus on Ability so Male Human Hero. Those are ticks we don't care about. So Flame and F4. I assumed he would be a high yield Flame/Elemental (because he already was). Thing would not be worthwhile mainly because Male Human Hero Combat is not rare and a lot overrate him. Yet on the scale Human Torch is not the best Flame character. "Good".
I did breakdown for Economic players today because there is a Uniform Sale. Aside Whales and Collectors which are the same because one requires the other and then Showcaser like Alex here who has to get this stuff to show you it. So "Wait until Black Friday" first. Well? Okay then do not get any of these F4 uniforms. Do not get any uniforms at all this year then. Except that isn't fun to play, that is a year away, you have Crystals for a year and Seasonal are not on sale during black Friday. Summer is coming up soon and some of the best Uniforms are found there and Winter.
So uniforms are not as good of a deal right now as Black Friday but? The expensive ones really are. Sentry, Thanos, Silver Surfer. So this depends on how many Crystals you have saved now first. Do you have those three in that order? Because that is the order of cost to upgrade them and they all top tier Uniforms this year. For a little more than the cost of one like Human Torch you can get say Sentry and for less than the cost of both you can get say Sentry. Minding that if you are Economic you want left over Crystals for stuff like Deadpool And Wolverine and Summer.
Figure your monthly earnings of Crystals here. If you do not have these essential to compete Uniforms pass on these F4 Uniforms and get at least one of them while this All Uniform sale is going and then save the rest for the next Events. See: Future Pass that Alex pointed out. 15 Days goes fast especially when it's hot outside and you do not earn that many Crystals during this time. Else if you are comfortable with your sitting Crystal Bank get Human Torch because he is pretty cool. Remember to mind Hype though. He is cool right now. He might not seem so cool three months from now.
I'm going for Sentry myself. I was short when he dropped and couldn't get him. I rate him above Human Torch and he was an instant T3 so? I'll worry about Human Torch come next All Sale or next Black Friday if all else fails.
Side: I noticed they patched the Patch lol. Also they forgot to patch the server again (shakes fist at devs). I won't be surprised to see another small patch in the near future. Betting there is also a graphics bug here somewhere, probably Torch since he is particle emitter heavy and those tend to cause issues. In their defense I have problems when I do dev with them as well. Purple day in Dimension Rift today for my crash. Fortunately it crashed right during the 12th play this time so I was able to get the Artifact.
You can cancel torch's 2nd skill after the first slash with a judgement. Also his 3rd is a slight delay. Instant cancelation don't give hits
