Thanks Professor! I have passed the Level 1, but could have done better if i had more time. only start watching your videos 1 and half months before Dec 2017 exam. So happy! I would like purchase the 2019 level 2 package because i guess i wont have enough time for this year june exam.
Is the minimum pass score of 70% a minimum of 70% per section (i.e Ethics, Devs, Quants) or is according to weighting (i.e Ethics being 15%) and so on... Factoring in 2021, the minimum pass score is probably 75%
I hear the MPS is typically between 65-70%, i.e. it can never be higher than 70% because then you could have a hypothetical candidate who scores exactly 70% on all topics and still fails (and in the CFAI's words, 70% indicates reasonable mastery over a topic). Have also heard (apparently a quote from an insider) that the institute has NEVER failed anyone who scored a 70% or above. Cheers!
Hi Mark, Is there a way to know in which score band I stand? Or only visual? The score band was a god metric to gauge my evolution, but now I´m a little bit lost without this metric
@ Mark I am physics graduate.. working as secondary school teacher. Age 33 I want to take an exam CFA.. what difficulties I would face during studies.. is it possible for to pass the exam????
Why did they remove 90th and 10th percentile lines for each topic? Seems much more informative for candidates
Thank you soo much Mark your videos helped me a lot, I cleared it in my first attempt!

How much do I have to score (on average) to be in 90th percentile? Like ~85%? Thanks!
