Resonated with this one, still undoing the cultural and societal indoctrination about the link between hard work and results. Love these videos man, thanks for making them (my job gives me a lot of driving time and I pop one of these on and I feel like I’m back at Gailbraiths haha).
I behave grumpy most of time when people take the time to look past the grumpy facade they realise that I'm not grumpy and ok, being grumpy is my way of filtering out the asshole's in life
Interesting approach. Why do you think grumpiness is a good filter? My first thought was that grumpiness will simply filter out people who are repelled by grumpiness (e.g. people who think you'd prefer to be left alone), while it would attract people who like grumpiness (e.g. manipulators). I'm happy to be corrected on this one, but it seems grumpiness is actually more likely to attract either assholes or people-pleasing "fixers" and repell healthy/confident people
Most people tend to leave grumpies alone, the one's that don't I can handle, someone once called me ****** the btard I asked him why he called me that he said he'd never seen anyone destroy someone just by talking to them politely he still calls me that my circle of friends is small but they are friends
Where are you trying too hard? For me, it's getting my baby girl to sleep - pointless effort
